If Simon knew what was going to happen, he could have done a back-to-the-future and worn a bullet-proof vest... :)

I always loved this episode, a guy who thinks he's in GTA IRL was a great concept for a threatening villain. The actor did a great job too

There's a lot of stuff that doesn't work about Simon's time traveling. I think the writers were more focused on the romantic/dramatic side of things and were willing to accept some plot holes.

Saul

Definitely some Niko Bellic vibes

I like that Josh reaches for his drink every time some rudery-rumpo action threatens to start happening - like my parents suddenly noticing a spot on the ceiling every time sex happened in a film

Colin Bayley

Like, how can he touch her without being affected by her power?

David Lyons

This aired a couple of years after GTA4 came out and while 3 was groundbreaking, 4 had a LOT of negative press surrounding it (anyone remember Jack Thompson?), unfairly so if you ask me, as it had a very well written and satirical side to it that touched on things like immigration. Hell, Niko even apologises to people if you run them over! This episode gives me the feeling that the writer had a friend or loved one that played too much GTA, and feels a bit crude or heavy handed IMO. Anyway, as a side note, I didn't have a PS1 at the time, so Code Veronica on DC was my first Resident Evil game. It's not the best, but it might be my favourite due to nostalgia and impact it had on me as a teenager. Hope it gets a remake one day! :)

Laughed my arse off at your reaction when the guy got shot. “SHIIIT!!!” 🤣

Saul

RE4 for me. Just nonstop, OTT fun.

Why he can touch her is explained later on. It will make sense. My thought was that the negative consequences of him surviving would be far worse, not only for the group but other people.

Vickie

I’m making bets with myself as to when you will realise you have been calling her Aisha and not her name which is Alisha lol.
