This is one of my least favourite episodes out of the early series but still enjoyed seeing it again along with your reaction thanks Josh :) BTW the age of consent is 16 in the UK.

This is definitely the weakest series 1 episode - it requires too much of a suspension of disbelief IMHO and Jonathan himself even remarks on how "elaborate" the execution is (🙃). Still, the great character writing and witty scripting from David Renwick just about saves it I think! The next episode is one of my favourites and there's definitely a face you'll recognise Josh. 😃 Great reaction as always!

This is incorrect I'm afraid. That man is Sandy Johnson who directed 11 episodes. He shows up in 2 more episodes, most noticable by his impeccable moustache. David Renwick who wrote the show never appears onscreen.
