Cryptid was the word you were looking for at the end (ah you looked it up 😂)

Angel

You wondered about the alien melting before the military got there. But I think he said there was a refrigeration unit in the table; so it didn't start melting until they moved it. This was my least favourite episode, I think. If those soldiers had properly examined the base, they would have known the answer immediately.

This was the first one I ever solved, there are two others i also solved later on in the series.

Ash Jeffries

This is the only one I got before it was explained. I think as it was a fairly simple premise and we were given a genuinely huge clue in the planets of the solar system, I got there. A great character episode but not one of my favourite stories - a bit of a filler episode I think. Next week and the week after are top drawer though!

This is one of my favourite episodes, the rest of this series is great too

Jake Francis

As a kid I always remember this being one of the worst episodes, probably because the mystery wasn't too crazy like what we're used to, but it actually is a decent episode, and funny too

Jonathan didn't keep any of the money, Josh. The point was that he asked for $100,000 as it was (then) roughly the equivalent of £65,000. But I can understand your confusion, as even after all this time you still usually call our currency 'dollars' :-P

This was so obvious from the start lol, not one of their best

Is that Skinner from 100 Dalmatians, John Shrapnel? I know he was in Troy and Gladiator too, but I always remember him as Skinner. Fun fact: he is a relative of the guy who made the fragmented shell, and where we get the word shrapnel from). Holy crap, and the girl at the signing is Charlie Brooks aka Janine from EastEnders. I figured it was a mercury cast as soon as it melted. The only thing that threw me off were the burns, as I was so wrapped up trying to remember school chemistry and how mercury could possibly cause chemical burns, I didn't even consider it being ice burns.
