imagine if when Rik opened the freezer he went "get up Neil I hate you!" lol

David Lyons

Or "Open up, it's the pigs!"

The political figure in the fake hidden camera scandal video was supposed to be the then Prime Minister Tony Blair.

David Lyons

The second man on the dvd bore a striking resemblance to former Prime Minister Tony Blair, and I *think* they were implying it was related to the Iraq War and the doubt over WMDs existing. (At least that was the biggest question mark over his term and had the potential to be the biggest scandal...) The main thing that bugged me about this episode was how Polly's introduction is a bit of a sucker punch. We see Jonathan's first interactions with Maddie, Carla & Joey, but Polly just pops up and goes "We're married now, get used to it!" Could've used a flashback, or even just a conversation about how they met, y'know? I get that there's been a 3 year gap, and it's not important to the mystery plot, but I still can't help but feel a bit short changed :/ Also, Josh talking about fanservice and actors coming back made me realise : this is the second time Nigel Planer has appeared, he was Maddie's boring blind date in the wardrobe episode!

Terrible episode, absolute worst of the series. A man with no hair has a comb flicking habit, a statistical show with no jokes and so realistic it fools the government, an accidental death that has those involved look like murderers because instead of calling an ambulance and the police, they do very stupid thing involving hiding most of the body but carrying the head around and using it to stage a death. The blu-tac falls off the door at just the right time, petrol in a petrol can in a car is not suspicious at all.... David Renwick's drafts folder was cleared right out with this one, every unfinished odd and end all put together into what is barely a coherent narrative.
