The flat that Woody moves into is on Ironside road where my sister lives. Thankfully her maisonette is in a lot better condition even when she got it ,though it still needed some work me and my dad spent a couple of days stripping wallpaper. Also no lifts in those blocks and it's no joke having to haul Fridge-freezers and washing machines up and down that stairwell to the top floor.

Mick makes my skin crawl. Great acting.

I've been so busy and just catching up with these reactions. It's such exemplary television but I agree, Josh, very stressful. It's so frequently sad and devastating, frustrating too, and there's so much natural humour, but it's still heavy because I think it's played so incredibly real. There's nothing overly melodramatic about any of it - the laughs and tears are so visceral. Ludovico Einaudi's beautiful, melancholic underscore is used so well in this series too. That last scene is very powerful. The love and selflessness of some juxtaposed with the selfishness and cruelty of others. Poor Harvey - not a prominent character up til now but seeing just that little bit of his awful home life is heartbreaking. We grow frustrated with Lol and Milky because they're not cruel people and Lol's trauma is real, and yet they're behaviour is so wrong. Mick is just vile and Chrissy not much better. Smell and Gadget are both adorable in their own way. Smell is the sweetest character in the series. Rosamund Hanson plays her so well.
