The age of consent here is 16, but to be involved in nude photos or videos is still 18. Also, the age to drink here is 18 in general, at 16 you can have one pint if accompanied by an adult and eating a meal (although many pubs choose not to do that anyway). In your own home you can give alcohol from the age of 5 as long as it’s not a lot or regularly. My 14 year old will have a small beer with her dad some weekends and if we have any of the kids friends round we personally choose to get written consent from their parents to let them have anything to drink, as I don’t want issues with other peoples kids. I haven’t ever come across a parent who said no from about 14+ though tbh.
