I think Mark double checked the name Brenda because its not really a typical name you would hear in the UK. While its common in America it could be seen as a trendy or out there name in Britain I guess? Or maybe it sounded middle or upper class to Mike's more working class background and he was surprised as a result. Those are my theories at least. Also, the headless guys name is Humphrey, not Henry. Although I do think Henry might have been a more fitting and memorable name given the whole Tudor thing, although maybe it would have been too on the nose.

I thought Mike had that reaction to her being called Brenda because it's a name I think most people might associate with a middle aged woman not a younger woman like her 🤷🏻 not sure though.
