When he said it happened when he was traveling must mean before the show started. Episode 1 of Series 1 starts with Gary returning from traveling around the world. The last time he went to Hong Kong was for a job, not traveling. Like you guys said, I don't think Gary was lying that he wasn't sleeping with Tamara anymore. Everyone has a past and even if they had slept together, it shouldn't count in the present. But when things got serious with Miranda, he should have told her. He's not as imature as Miranda, but he still has some growing up to do. As for Miranda's reaction, to me, it felt more like this was the latest in a long line of things that went wrong whenever she tried to be with Gary. It was a big thing but they could've gotten over it if Miranda had more self-confidence and more life experience. My take was that she couldn't trust Gary or herself at that time in her life. I look forward to the therapy episode. It's by far the best of the whole show. Bottle episodes, when done well, are sheer joy to watch.
