So excited for this!! Very underrated but an absolute classic and very clever

That was a really funny first episode and a solid start to the series! Diane Morgan who plays Liz also plays the character Philomena Cunk, who I'd recommend checking out in the future! The finger thing really caught me off guard! Julia wanting to join the group despite them being terrible makes sense as, besides the (from her perspective) practical benefits, she's also clearly the type of person who wants to fit in and be popular while her quirks get in the way! Its obviously a common trope in media, whether its nerds in American 80s movies or middle aged housewives in British sitcoms! I do like the recurring joke that her co workers don't even know she has kids because she spends so little time with them! I will say that I kind of blame the kids for the whole half term situation as they should have told her they were off school! They would definitely have known, what kid doesn't keep track of the holidays? Julia clearly makes her mother take care of them all the time to the point she has no time to herself! Honestly, can't blame her for putting her foot down! I'm predicting Kevin and Liz will get together at some point, although I could be wrong! I will say, I was a little skeptical going into this (I was worried it would be an Outnumbered or Miranda type show, which no shade to anyone else, aren't my cup of tea) but I'm happy to be proven wrong! Great reaction guys, looking forward to the next one!

It happened me in first year. I'd been off eight days with chicken pox and didn't realise the half term break started the day I was due to go back 😄
