Spoiler-free review: So far all I can say is the show has relatable awkward, cringy moments. They do a great job peppering in funny tidbits as well.
If I was watching this just 2 years ago I would not have made it through the first episode. Because I would have been worried about getting sick. I get nauseous from movies like Clover Field and I can't do VR for longer than 10 minutes without getting sick.
With that being said watching all of the wild angles, POV shooting, and shaky shots I was concerned I would get sick as I was watching. Thankfully I did not. This could be because there are decent breaks between the super shaky footage. I'm really happy I can continue watching this show. So many people here and on youtube have said the show gets better and better.
As always I would love to hear what you all think about the show.
Thanks

The first season feels like a pilot for what's to come. Please stick with it because it gets really, really hilarious. I'd go as far as saying it's my favourite ever comedy, but the first season is just warming up.

Tony Smyth

It doesn't really kick off until Super Hans turns up.

David Williams

Sophie, Olivia Coleman won the best actress Oscar this year.

I remember back in 2015 going to Universal Studios and getting instantly motion sick at all the 3D rides where you don’t move but the screen shows a moving animation. My brain just said “nope - screw this!”

Great :) Peep Show is one of my favourites. You're spoiling us 😀 glad you enjoyed it, it does get better after series one and the wonky camera angles calm down a bit too.

Wilss

You're in for a treat with Peep Show. Gets better and better with each season.

Deco

The camera gets a bit steadier after the first couple of episodes. It's one of the greats.

Jonny

Excellent, starts well and gets better, this is great Josh thank you :)

Toby Lewis

You’re in for a treat with this. Such a great show. I notice you watched it from a YouTube video, the show is on UK Netflix if you have access to a VPN and know how to get around the system, I’ve seen other channels do it and it might be a better way to access every episode.

Samuel Coghlan-White

This show is a huge cult classic in the UK, it's so big. It's basically considered to be our generations "Friends"

Michael

This is my favourite show of all time. I'm so glad you are checking it out, Might seem to start slow especially first season but it gets better and better!

Just gonna reiterate what other people have said, I think you really start to appreciate it at the second season. By then you are used to the camera shots, the quality of the camera has improved, you know the characters and the writing has improved. I would give it until after the first episode of the second season before you make a judgement.

The first series is basically a testing ground for what's to come, this program get seriously funny, once the actors settle in to they're parts, they all become excellent.
