Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

I didn't expect to see Tim McInnerny (Percy) in this season. I just assumed if he was going to be in this one I would have seen him in the first episode. Like a dork, forgetting he could make an appearance a few times similar to Hugh Laurie in season 2.It was cool to see Chris Barrie from Red Dwarf as well. While watching this for the life of me I couldn't remember his name. Chris Barrie is such an easy name to remember too. I almost said Chuck Berry when he first appeared on the screen lol. This episode was decent but I really enjoyed episodes 1 and 2 more.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

EDIT: Never mind you just didn't mention it during :D Not sure you recognized Rimmer off Red Dwarf as the revolutionary. Also Percy was the Scarlet Pimponell / disguised aristocrat!

I don't think those words were real lol

Claire Prowse

I just love Chris Barrie he should've been in more stuff. Only saw him in one movie and that was the first tomb raider as the butler. Great comedy actor

Austin Stratton

'Not so fast, English' Wondered if I was watching the right Rowan Atkinson show :D

Michael

man i love them all. so much. (except season 1, lets be real)

Sean Riley

If you like Chris Barrie you should check out Brittas Empire.

My bad, was always told they was and some sites say they are old timey words. After looking into it more they aren't proper real words. they were made for the show, but in a sense they are made up of real words to create a new meaning that makes sense to those words. Just like now , for example, when people use words like "frenemy" to describe friends who are also enemies. In Blackadder a word like Pericombobulation: ‘Peri’ can mean ‘around’, and this seems to be combined with ‘discombobulation’. The meaning could be something like causing someone to go around in uncertain, needless circles.

I think this episode is alright, it's a bit a slow to get started. I think the big sausage bit is hilarious though as I like that kind of silly childish humour haha

David Lyons

In the Scarlet Pimpernel, the character's real name is Percy, so good bit of casting there ;)

They are made up words lol. Slapping a couple of words together in a way that implies meaning, isn't the same as the words having valid dictionary definitions. Putting 'contrafibularities', 'pericombobulation' or 'interfrastically' down on a scrabble board will get you looks, not points lol.

Out of all of the shows that Josh has been reacting to, Blackadder has been the most disappointing for me so far. And I'm not sure why? Bottom, Fawlty Towers, and Alan Partridge are all older shows, which I've seen a lot, and they still amuse me. I was never a big fan of Only Fools and Horse, but I'm enjoying them more now than I did when I was younger. But Blackadder, which I absolutely loved as a teenager and a young man, is just leaving me flat this time around. I'm a huge Red Dwarf fan, but never liked the first two series, but I even find these far more enjoyable than Blackadder. Again, I'm not sure why, but the show doesn't really amuse me anymore. Anybody else having this experience for any of the shows they used to love?

I'm getting a little of what you're feeling, but not quite to the extent that you are. I do however think a lot of Blackadder's reputation hangs on series 4, including one particular scene which isn't even funny, and the iconic characters in the show as a whole - when Blackadder shines it really shines, and that's what people remember. Admittedly series 2 wasn't quite what I remembered it to be. Series 3 still holds up though - against what an average sitcom is/was like it's still pretty damn good IMO.

Hey Josh, just so you know... The person who told you they were real words was having you on one. They are more fake than Pamela Anderson's tits 😉

Brittas is a good guy, who genuinely cares about the world and people. Rimmer is a complete self-serving cunt. Yet both men are equally detestable. Chris Barrie really does a great job of playing annoying characters lol.

i saw your AIDS reaction today on Yt. There is one epic bit from that show you really need to check out i think. the one called Animal homosexuality. Its hilarius, with illustrated pictures (not that graphic thou, dont worry) from a book he found.

bex evans

Lol i went straight to the dictionary to check on interfrastically.
