Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This was a really funny episode I enjoyed it a lot. When security approached them calmly and ask them to follow him to the office, my first thought was he thinks they stole something lol. I enjoyed everything about this episode from beginning to end. Them being accused of theft, getting wrapped into an armed robbery, and discovering it was an inside job at the end. All around fantastic, fun, and funny episode.

Questions: If one of you has Brit Box can you let me know if episode 2 missing ?? I cant use VPN to access UK brit box, I am just curious if it's just removed in the states.

I can access Only Fools on Netflix using a VPN but it's on to Season 3, and all of the special.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

yeah mate episode 2 should be the miracle of peckham

Sam Owen

yes episode 2 is missing! but this is a treat as I prefer it to episode 2 anyway 😂 definitely get round to it tho it’s great :)

Jonathan Giles

Same as Sam lol. Episode 2 is missing. It’s not integral to the story arc but definitely get round to watching it. Loving the reactions

Daryl

May because of religious aspect it's not included. But that's me guessing. I can't think of another reason it's not showing up for you.

Manly Stump

One of my all-time favourites! "That damned elusive sha-a-dow!" XD

Josh B

Not sure what the people are on about above but episode 2 is on the uk britbox. Here is the link: www.britbox.co.uk/watch/The_Miracle_of_Peckham_42883

Gary Tamblyn

Hey Josh, a future episode of one of the shows you are watching will refer to a “Swan Vesta”, which I don’t believe you have in the states ? They are basically a famous brand of red tipped match, that look like this:- https://www.astonsofmanchester.co.uk/image/cache/data/consumables/swan-vestas-matches-900x900.jpg So if you come across the term in a future episode of something, you’ll know what it is. 🙂 Haha, love the bit where Rodney’s reaching for the cigarettes. If Ep4 is the next one, it’s brilliant !!!! Although hope you manage to track down Ep2

Hannah

I was waiting for this episode to come up...class! The guy that played Lennox, Vas Blackwood, is an amazing British actor that's been in so much over the years including the movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Kieran B

That’s a shame about episode 2, it’s fantastic, if you’re able to access U.K. Britbox it’s there but I know that wasn’t possible on your VPN before but maybe Nord can? I’m guessing it’s the religious element, which is rather ludicrous

Steve Read

Episode 2 shows up on Britbox for me. Wierd it doesnt on yours.

Craig Broadley

Easily one of my favourite episodes. Lennox is one of the better characters. Keep up the good work

Thomas McDonald

I seriously doubt that's the reason. It might be copyright for the film music in one scene (O Fortuna?). I know they had to do some editing around that in one of the DVD releases.

Steve Read
>>53012846

Also, you'll see the guy who plays Lennox again in the next couple of weeks ;)

Katie Woodward

https://watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com/stream/only-fools-and-horses-5x2/ I don't know if this will work for the US side of things, but this appears to be a legit OFAH website where you can watch episodes for free. The link above should take you to the missing episode. Potentially, the issue with the episode's removal could be the religious overtones, and Del Boy's usual "take 'em for everything they've got and don't look back" attitude towards making money. If you do manage to find a way of watching this episode, I shan't spoil it for you any further.

It’s missing on the US version of Britbox and Josh hasn’t previously been able to access U.K. Britbox with VPN

Steve King

The guy playing the robber is in Lock. Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (Similar to Snatch and made by the same director with many of the same actors). Dunno if the film's on your list. Josh but it should be because I know if the milk turns out to be sour, you ain't the kinda pussy to drink it ;)

Steve Read

Can you stream it from Amazon? I know nothing about the way you record or what barriers streaming sites put up, but if it's an option they are all on there to rent/buy. At least in the UK anyway...

Teddy Alison

It’s always a shame to miss an episode as it is good to watch. However even now if you don’t react to it try and find time to watch it on your own. As for this episode it’s hilarious. The next ones coming up are all belters

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Ha I was expecting number 2 but this was a nice surprise because I love this episode. Love Lennox Gilby's character. 'That damned elusive sha-a -dow' 😂 I don't know why but hearing an American saying plonker and wally was so satisfying lol. Great reaction as always Josh thanks :)

Justyn

Great episode

Claire Prowse

One of my fave episodes .... love it! Rodneys face when he grabs the cigs!! So proud of his achievement 😂

NEXUS

Not sure why the miracle of Peckham is not available as there's nothing with in the episode to warrant it being missing. The next episode called tea for three has probably THE FUNNIEST 10 minutes of any any episode in the whole series, there will probably be a few cuts though in what ever streaming service you are using as all seem to have minor edit/cuts for PC reasons.

Christopher Horner

Totally agree. The fact he picks up the cigarettes is funny enough but the look on his face just elevates that bit even further.

Andy Quin

One of my favourite episodes... just wish Lennox would have become a regular character, the actor playing him is brilliant and would've had so much potential for future storylines.

Christopher Horner

There's a film from 1934 about the Scarlet Pimpernel and in one scene he recites a little poem:- We seek him here, we seek him there, Those Frenchies seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven? — Is he in hell? That damned, elusive Pimpernel

Christopher Horner
>>53019104

I reckon it might be copyright. I can't remember the episode as I haven't seen it for a while but there might be some religious sounding music used that hasn't been cleared.

Fred bates

I really think you will grow to love these characters more than any other. You find yourself feeling a genuine love for them. That's why without fail only fools and horses is voted britains favourite sitcom Pretty much every year.

Fred bates

A lot of the episodes are not on Netflix and other places because they have the word pakhi in them in the UK its a pretty serious word like the N word. But for Indian people But it the cane a bad word because people used in a negative way The episodes were filmed it wasn't and didn't have a racist connotations the the cancel culture work brigade can't see that Fortunately.

Jon Young
>>53015751

Yeah that sha a dow Nicholas Lyndhurst told him to say it that way

Zoë

Underrated episode, one of my favourites!

Fred, this isn't correct. Series 1-3 are on Netflix and they're arguably the most controversial, because they're older and they have jokes about minorities and gay people that would be considered poor taste today. Literally two of the most ostensibly "racist" episodes - "Cash and Curry" and "Yellow Peril" - are in those first two series. Both are available on Netflix. Later series aren't available because of licensing issues. This is the big problem with people who talk about cancel culture or the "PC brigade". Much of what you rail against is imagined or simply untrue. You've spoken about this before and it honestly just makes you come across as someone who wishes you could still say those things. There's plenty to criticise about cancel culture today, in terms of stifling debate or victimising well-meaning people with controversial opinions. But virtually no one laments the fact that they can't say 'Paki' anymore. I love your comments on the show itself, but I cringe when you write stuff like this. Give it up, dude.

Awesome bud hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for the info man, I can't wait to watch Lock, Stock I have been hearing good things =]

Contex - It's Just A Ride

Look forward to these every Saturday morning when I finish work. Can't wait till we get around to life's too short, Derek, The Boosh and Come Fly With Me. Classsic, offensive, weird and rude, my kinda comedy lol

Sam Dilks

Ah yes the episode with the actor that's basically Basil Fawlty but isn't. It really seems like they tried to get John Cleese in this, couldn't, so found a lookalike. Also wow jokes such as "he never leaves the house" and "I've known epidemics come and go quicker than you", were just jokes back then but now in the midst of Covid-19 and lockdowns are the new normal for us right now lol

Saul

I'm not that huge a fan, I don't really know the show that well, but this was brilliant...really funny, tightly plotted. Good stuff. It's good discovering a comedy show along with After Works.

BertFredStan

I think this episode feels different from all the others - possibly due to it not featuring the flat. For some reason it always drops in my estimation, but each time I catch it I end up enjoying it!

Gary Tamblyn

There’s a few average episodes here and there, but generally they are really good. Watch out for Tea for Three either next week or the week after, Who wants to be a millionaire, Danger UXD, Chain Gang, Dates. In fact the list goes on.

Jeremy O Dwyer

The Scarlet Pimpernel was a 1905 novel about a group of English aristocrats, led by the Scarlet Pimpernel, who went to France to rescue French aristocrats from repercussions after the French Revolution.

Paul Seldon

For what it’s worth the miracle of Peckham is being shown on Gold this afternoon, so can’t be that controversial

Michael Garman

This episode Is one of my favourites. The episodes from now are all so good.

Mike Doel

Did you recognize the thief from Lock Stock and two smoking barrels :)

Dean

This is undoubtedly one of the best episodes of OFAH. It neatly distils every single enduring strength of the show into a perfect 30 minutes. A keen observtion of working-class humour. Finding ways to find humour in criminality. The three main leads playing to their key strengths for the correct balance of comedy and pathos. David Jason has cited this as one of his favourite episodes for the opportunity it gave to Vas Blackwood to showcase his talent. Lennox is a fantastically written character with a dimension afforded to very few black characters on TV at the time.

Nothinghalo

i make custom funko pops and im working with vas at the moment to make this character =) and one for him in lock stock too =)

Farhad_S

Can't remember this being one of my favourite episodes (top 10, etc) before, but really loved it this time around!
