Nice one uploading early!👍 didn't like this when I watched it on my own a few years ago, hopefully I'll enjoy it more with you watching along

I saw this one in Birmingham at the NIA, now called the Utilita Arena. 26th October 2001. Ticket price £21.50. I can't remember anything about the show as I never bought the DVD, so looking forward to this later. I'm sure some of it will come back to me.

Rik not only fell off a quad bike, he almost died. He was airlifted to hospital with a fractured skull, was in a coma for almost a week and it left him with some minor brain damage (seizures and audio processing difficulties). The worst of it is his wife saw him laying under the bike and thought he was messing around. Ade said after that Rik was harder to work with as he was slower to get jokes and he needed more rehearsal time when performing, which might be why they don't go off script as much.

Watched this live in Bristol when it was touring, glad to rewatch it here again along with you Josh as I was too blind drunk at the time to really recall much of the show! Lol

Andy Farmer

Haha you're welcome Josh. Glad it arrived safely 😁 thanks for another amazing reaction dude take care

I saw this live show at Hammersmith Apollo (where all the live at the apollo shows are filmed and where Eddie and Richie's flat is located) it was brilliant 😄 still got the programme t-shirt and opera glasses lol

That was an entertaining way to round off the weekend! :) thanks Josh. I love that little moment when Richie considered shagging the partial remains of the parrot after it had exploded 😂 so vile. Rik's quad bike accident in 1998 almost killed him. He was in a coma and suffered brain damage/seizures etc afterwards. Loved Ade joking if only he'd 'fixed' the brakes propely lol. So jealous of all the people on here who actually went to see them live!

Good I am glad you enjoyed it! Lol the parrot scene was wild 😂 That is sad to hear about his accident, he was a great guy.

Nikki

Hey Josh guess what? Those were my pants that Rik put on his head at end! Amazing to see live. He truly was one of a kind. Sorely missed. Your laugh makes my day! Great work.

Nikki

Hi

Nell Sun

Saw this one live in Hammersmith - at the Hammersmith Apollo. Kept waiting for them to reference the fact they were in their hometown but they didn't...
