Looking forward to spaceballs Found anything yet 😂

Kieran B

So glad Spaceballs finally made it through!

Danny

Clockwork Orange is QUITE the film. There will be scenes burned into your mind forever in it. It was a banned film for 30 years

Martin Putt

Four great films especially Spaceballs and A Clockwork Orange. A Clockwork Orange is so good I've watched the film more times than I can count and read the book it's based on about six times over.

Clockwork Orange I think is the sort of film you watch on your own. Uncomfortable to watch with someone

Michael

Josh watching a clockwork orange? One of stanley kubricks best in my opinion, but god damn 😳 hope you're ready

FatSam25

I swear your patrons must be 100 years old what terrible old films has won the poll

Saul

I watched Clockwork Orange an age ago, slightly odd choice for this channel but looking forward to revisiting it. Not exactly a bundle of laughs though :). Never seen Spaceballs, but that does seem a lot more up Josh's avenue; hope it's as funny as everyone says. I love John Candy and Rick Moranis though, that's always a good sign. The other two...just scraping the barrel. It's like some people have only watched five films in their life and instead of anything good, that's outside their comfort zone, that they might actually end up liking, they just pick stuff they've watched before, regardless of quality. Forgive me, I'm just shouting at a cloud at this point.

What should we be picking instead of Clockwork Orange, one of the greatest, most iconic films of all time? I'd be genuinely interested in which modern films you consider self-evidently better than arguably Kubrick's greatest film - please tell me.

Jay

Clockwork Orange is a classic, and Spaceballs is one of Mel Brooks funniest. But I'm really confused how Evan Almighty is being chosen over Bruce Almighty, as it's just an inferior version of the original. I also don't get how Yes, Man was chosen over Jim Carrey's far superior Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, especially as it's a weak rehash of Liar Liar. Agree with Saul Till, that quite a few patrons here seem to be sticking within their comfort zone, instead of choosing genuinely decent films. It's like there's no consideration to Josh getting true enjoyment from movies, or the rest of the patrons who want to see him react to the very best.

Couldn't agree more. A very odd selection here. One amazing film, one good film, plus Evan Almighty and Yes, Man. Each to their own, but damn 😂

Love A Clockwork Orange. That'll make for an interesting reaction :D never even seen the other 3 TBH.

Rob Walters

Make sure you have a pillow ready for 'A Clockwork Orange' - One of the most over rated and boring films of all time, who's age old 'disturbing scenes' are now laughable at best. This is one of the films people cite as a 'classic' (!) because they hear others say so....in much the same way a person who has no real interest in films may parrot 'Robert DeNiro' if asked who their favourite actor is because it seems to be the default answer.

Well, I love A Clockwork Orange and I'm pretty sure I have a mind of my own.

A self imposed ban by Kubrick. The BBFC passed it uncut and it was released again as soon as Kubrick died.

Josh B

Bruce Almighty isn’t on the poll. Josh needs to open up a new suggestion thread rather than choosing the leftovers that no one wants to see.

Mr K

Hey Josh, can you put Harry Brown on future polls? Not a happy film, but worth a watch.

TheHigh

Finally get to watch someone react to CO , awesome!

Stu 79

SPACEBALLS!! 🤣🤣

mrtheevilmage

I'm gonna be a real shit here and say this...Spaceballs...Not as good as blazing saddles

Steven Legg

no, you are right. There is a lot more reference comedy in Spaceballs, whereas you can get almost anyone to watch and understand the jokes in Blazing Saddles.

Alison Hale

Did Spaceballs not get done then? I've not seen it pop up.
