Mandy's stories cracked me up 😂 I really hope that isn't the last we hear of the book club, I'd love for it to be a reoccurring thing where we get to hear one of her mental stories every so often 🤞🏼

Great episode. Love your reactions man, currently rewatching Peep Show through you! Would you ever do a Q+A? Super curious to know your favourite/least favourite shows you've reacted to, things like that.

Toby

Love this episode 🤣

David Lyons

Flat Eric was a puppet used in a Levi's ad in 1999 : https://youtu.be/hY6WTuvyF7Y?si=mmXKpGjTJIm6dAfk I may be wrong, but I don't think the ad was aired in America. Flat Eric toys were everywhere over here (albeit briefly)! He also made an appearance in The Office, David Brent points him out in one episode.

Just realised Daisy also plays Kerry's mum!

mwdoom

The dog didnt reply cos he was massively concussed lmao

I thought the mockumentary format peaked with Ricky Gervais's The Office, but I'd say This Country has it beaten.  It's not often you watch a comedy that makes you anxious you're going to laugh so much you'll miss the next killer line.

Matthew Towner

Absolutely love the quick wit and dark humour of This Country! Would easily binge watch for hours (if I had no commitments!) best laugh on tele, for sure.

Matthew Towner

The problem was Mandy wasn't prepared to read the books and instead wanted to read out her own disturbing short stories — including one about a man who met a grisly end in a dodgem car.

Charlie

There's a deleted scene of Mandy reading more of her stories which are on YouTube, they're well worth tracking down if you have a few spare minutes.

Death Lego

This might be one of my favourite UK comedies of the past 10 years. The sublime simplicity if it, with killer one liners, expert timing, and fantastically crafted anticipatory cringe filled moments that deliver in such unexpected ways. I'm actually in awe of writing and execution for this.

AfterWorkReactions

Thanks bud I appreciate that. I may do that at one point bud, thanks for the idea =]

AfterWorkReactions

It really is a great show. I would say it is one of my favorites so far.

Fuck me I've had that exact conversation about Google Maps vs Waze back when I was a courier. Thank Christ I'm not doing that anymore.

Relyx

I second this. I'd love to know which shows (if any) you can see yourself going back to in your own time down the line, what moments from shows really stick out in your memory, how Tay is doing, so on and so forth.
