I'm totally with you on the baby thing. I mean, I probably would have in the past if any ex girlfriends that I was really in love with, wanted to have one but it never felt like the right time and like you said, seeing the way the world is going, I don't want to be responsible for bringing a life into it. I agree that it's a bit selfish when you think about continuing the human race but there's 8 billion people on the planet....I'm sure we'll cope for a while more without my spawn!

Babies 😬

A bunch of the things so far are clearly based on Karl's own experiences, just exaggerated in some cases. He did the sperm thing and talked about it on the Moaning of Life, he regular talked about his noisy neighbours in his old flat on XFM and The Ricky Gervais Show. So I'm expecting more references in later episodes

I think you can complain about most things anonymously but its normally obvious it's the neighbour. That can include noise or mess in people's yards. My sister had a neighbour she didnt get on with and she got reported to the council for having a run down shed in the yard from the last owner which she just left as she didn't really go in the back garden, the complaint being it was ugly to look at, and she had to knock it down and get rid of it. Overgrown gardens are common that I've heard people complain about

My wife's a childminder and the kids she looks after very rarely cry, if at all... There's always a reason for a child crying!... If you have the right routine and work out what the baby needs instead of panicking, it's a lot easer than people think... In fact, my wife knows what the baby wants before they do lol so a lot of it is to be preemptive and being properly organised.

Yep, this show seems to based on his real life experiences that he's talked about before on other shows... In the first episode, he's mentioned the sofa thing before on the Ricky Gervais Show for example... This show seems to be based on that in its entirety lol... So far, I'm on the fence on wether I like this show or not... I'm more on the side of not liking it it but I'll give it to the end of S1 to decide... What I do know, and I've mentioned this before, is that there's no way we'd be watching this if it wasn't for Karl and was a random actor instead... In fact, if it wasn't Karl's project, it would never have been commissioned.

Very true man. I think alot of people just do the thin where they let kids cry it out instead of attending to the needs of the children.

I loved hearing you talk at the end. Really insightful. Been working a lot lately and haven't had so much time to keep up with these but I always love to watch them when I can <3
