Rag Week is basically a once a year thing at university where students do stupid things to raise money for charity or towards some school cause. I don't think it's common everywhere though. I've seen it happen a few times years ago at my college, people running about dressed as clowns or dressed in drag with buckets to collect money . I remember some art students looking to raise funds for a trip to France for their class , so they dressed in stereotypical French clothes with the stripes, berets and onions round their neck speaking bad English with a bad French accent

This is definitely one of the memorable episodes, next one is really good too!

"You're not being fair, Patricia! We have lots of fun together! Last night it was flagellation over fornication! You can't ask for more than that!" "It was boring!" "Well, it was the best darn Scabble score I've ever had, I can tell you!" 😂 Quite honestly one of the silliest but most satisfying bits of this ridiculously silly but satisfying series! It's very old fashioned - and was even in 1995! - but I love it for what it is. It isn't trying to be edgy, just an easy watch and a bit of fun! Great reaction, Josh! 🙏

Rag week, those were the days, when students weren't lumbered with huge debts, and sitcoms were genuinely funny. Rag week isn't necessarily the funniest episode of the show, but it does feature the most memo lines. Raymond's caustic comment to the robber, 'that was very Naughty,' and of course Grim's memorable saying, 'my arse is on the line, and I don't want a cock up.' The delivery, the acting are terrific once again, Ben Elton used Atkinson's comedy capabilities to the max, and he shines through in every scene. A gem.

Oh ok over here some schools will do something similar on homecoming week in highschools.

I think some schools only do a prank but some schools actually do a charity thing.

I really enjoy watching this show with you again, I have watched it back in the day in Croatia growing up. I have watched it with my dad same is mit Only Fools and Horses and now that my dad is unfortunately not more with us😞💔 I have soft spot for those shows in my heart...

I could see you trying to work it out, but just after he had done the backwards word bits he called him a Diputs Loof, which is obvious Stupid Fool backwards 🤣 so many bits you can easily miss. There's jokes everywhere in this
