Sneak Peek - Deaver's Apartment (Patreon)

Hey everyone, and happy Sneak Peek Thursday! Today, I am showing a bit of my next map for the Lothburgh series, being created and published by Lunch Break Heroes.

In Lothburgh decades ago, the city was overrun by vampire spawn spreading through the streets and buildings like a plague. A group of heroes known as the "Blades of Mourning" led the charge against the vampires and cleansed the city of their evil...or so they thought.Fast forward 70 years, and most members of the Blades are elderly and struggling to remember their former glory. One such hero is Deaver, who lives in a New Ashes apartment, putting together conspiracy theories and missing persons reports. He's onto something, though most in his circle think he's finally lost his mind. That is when your party of Investigators is hired by his daughter to investigate his disappearance. Their first stop? His New Ashes apartment to look for clues about his whereabouts. Though they should tread carefully, the old man still has some dangerous traps to stop would-be intruders! This map will feature Deaver's Apartment with two versions: One that has a large hole blasted into the floor with signs of a kidnapping (per the setting campaign guide) and the other a normal apartment with no signs of struggle. Additionally, this was the first map I recorded from start to finish, and next week I'll be sharing my 10-minute time-lapse video for those who would like to see a very sped-up version of my process.
