LOL I love the nicknames that Dustin thought up. Steve, Robin, Dustin, and Erica are Scoops Troop. Nancy, Jonathan, El, Mike, Lucas, Max, and Will are the Griswold Family. Hopper, Joyce, and Murray are the Eagles Nest and specifically Murray is "Bald Eagle." Which begs the question what kind of eagles are Hopper and Joyce... they never say in the show but I gotta know lmao

Yeah I'm the same dude, at first I didn't like Max either, but I think that just means we were on wills wavelength, when I look back, only reason I didn't like her is because she wasn't there from the start and shared that "Bond" with the gang, but she's just as cool if not cooler than the others technically lol

Season 4 is the best one, the way the story all ties together at the end of season 4 it just blows your mind. The producers and the story writers for this series done an amazing job they knew where they were going from the very first season. We learn more about el in season 4 and her powers. Nancy is also way more badass in season 4 😂

The reason I said to focus on Billy’s eyes when the mind flayer is making him do things is because you can see the real emotion from billy like how teary his eyes get it shows that billy was still in there the whole time and didn’t want to do anything that he was being made to do! Like in hoppers cabin when he was telling el what they were going to do to her and her everybody else he had tears dropping from his eyes because billy didn’t want to do that! When he was about to hit Nancy did you see how upset his face looked with the crying, and then he pushed through when it came to saving el! Billy was the way he was because of his father! Deep down I believe he really cared for max at the end and her friends. That little “I’m sorry” broke my heart for max! Also the way they all came together for el, that was needed because she was saving them the whole time.

Steve taking the L in stride and going right back into being friends with Robyn is a great moment. He took his shot, and realized it literally was not meant to be, and chose to still be friends with her. Compare that to Steve in Season 1 and you see just how much he’s changed already.
