D-Matrix

Terrance

My grade 11 class teacher made us watch this and then we had a field trip to the movie theatre and watched the newer one. Both are pretty great.

lemonhead enzo

Well I hope Wednesday is strange*rubs hands*

Dwayne Mason

This movie right here!! I remember when I first was introduced to this gem. It was back in high school and I was so mad that we didn't get a chance to officially finish the movie in class so I made sure that I caught the ending later on

jasminebrklyn

No stranger things 🥹🥲 Leo we dying from starvation 😂 jk

Peppps

Aye nice one. Dropping heat as always. I reccomend you take a look at ferris buellers day off. Its from the same director as breakfast club. You gonna love it.

Mitch Coob

Uncut Gems The Raid 🙏🏽

astrobuckshot

Very well done movie. Who knew spending an entire film in a jury room could be so compelling?

Chaos T

Love this random drop. "12 Angry Men" is a very important film that everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime. This film makes me want to load up just to get through the topics it brings up.

bitchnug

Great movie! I just watched this 2 weeks ago for the first time. The remake is not as good.

jasminebrklyn

Btw Leo we don’t care if you do late uploads I be up at 3am would watch either way🤍

Terrance

The blonde guy with glasses and hair slicked back does the voice of Piglet. You can kinda hear it in his speaking voice.

Tyrone lannister

Amazing movie! Glad you could watch it my G!

Steevn Sonder

To Kill a Mockingbird slaps as well if you're not being forced to watch it by your English teacher

Hey Khan

I love this movie. Reservoir dogs and the hateful eight remind me of this movie because they all are set in one location (mostly), and are retelling the events that already happened to the viewer. It's a very cool concept that puts all the pressure on the characters to drive the story forward.

Chris H

If you liked this movie you should watch The Sting (1973), one of my favorites!

IVAN OOZE

Leo you know me I’m Gabagool thru and thru but Lost is streaming on Netflix July 1st. Just as good. I would be in heaven if you react !

Mitch Coob

Wow, that was a good ass movie. Thanks for this upload, Leo!

Filby Pott

one of the greatest movies of all time I would recommend My Cousin Vinny for another courtroom movie but you already reacted to that lol

Flukemarm

Probably won't be popular but I'd love a run of classic/vintage movies. I think you'll love Casablanca, Treasure of the Sierra Madre is very modern feeling, Some Like it Hot is funnier than most modern comedies.

Offred84

Much respect for doing this movie

Sabrena S

Great choice, can’t go wrong with the classics! If you haven’t seen Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks that’s a good one too!😁💚

CaptNRetro

one of the greatest films of all time

Young Doss

Love this movie but where is fast 5

Edward Williams

Great Reaction Great movie I never would of watch this if you didn't I'm glad you did. Amazing, you should check out MY COUSIN VINNY another good court movie

James Therian

Damn what a great classic film! I was locked in so intensely I barely even smoked, Cheers!!

The Joy

Please check out The Inbetweener series (UK), show some love to your UK supporters :)

Vito

Hey man, you're goated for doing this. Most people won't watch old movies, which is a shame since they're missing out on great storytelling. You should check out "The Twilight Zone". You don't have to watch the entire series,There's a ton of lists that rank the episodes. Cheers again, mang, and thanks for doing stuff like this.

MAlky

ST S4E2 please 🫣

Serge_Impulse Owner

A masterpiece. If you loved this, check out the film Network (1976). A satire that feels more relevant today than it did back in the 70s.

BigDirt

If you're looking to go further down the classic film rabbit hole, or just want to watch another great legal drama, you owe it to yourself to check out Anatomy of a Murder (1959).

Laura Thate

I watched this movie when it first came out. Yes I’m that old. Nothing has changed in our judicial system at the civilian level. Court appointed attorneys don’t care if they don’t get paid if it doesn’t help their career, they don’t put any effort into it. The United States Has more people incarcerated than all nations combined. I don’t believe in the death penalty because 4% of all cases were not guilty. The government pays $5000 a day for every full bed, and with people so divided in America and prejudice being what it is Intentions growing higher with the border crisis, etc. people bring their egos into a courtroom their biases their minds are on other things in their life, but this movie pointed out in a time we’re prejudice against Black people, Latinos, immigrants was represented by the one gentleman who was an obvious racist. The other man who is so sure at the end the young man was guilty, had told his story in the beginning of the movie that he and his son had a fight and that he was ashamed of his son for walking away from a fight that he beat him until he made him a man but that his son hadn’t spoken to him in two years because of it. I guess what I’m trying to get at is even going back to 1957 and it being 2024. My question would be do you think our judicial system has gotten better or worse? My opinion by fax and data it is has gotten worse. There is too many private prisons where people make your clothes that you wear for free. Under the 13th amendment prisoners are slaves with economy like ours. We pick up people and put them in prison so that you can go to Walmart, Kmart dollar store and buy very cheap clothing, etc. because prisoners make it for free. Our taxes paid to keep asses in those beds for as long as they can. If anyone is ever interested, take a look at what the new Louisiana laws are for prisoners, it will shock the living hell out of you. Leo, you did a great job. This was a great movie then and it shows the progression of how badly are justice system has fallen. You’re the goat Leo!

Reinmaker

Jack Ward is in this. He's also in Dirty Work with Norm Macdonald and Chris Farley

Joachim Blaabjerg

That was great! Thanks for showing me this, Leo.

kevin staab

I like to see your head in the old ones. Can we get apocalypse now

kevin staab

Apocalypse Now it has a great cast

Chris OK..

To Kill a Mockingbird

Cody H Jackson

Absolute classic! Great choice dude. Check out the director's final film, "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" - it is super underrated :)

David Rositas

I loved the choice Leo. Glad I finally got to watch a new one with you

Land Shark - Africa Twin Motovlogs

The guy with the hat, who opened the window at the beginning, is Jack Warden. He was a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division in WW2.

Jesse S

Wow I haven’t seen this movie since they showed me it in high school. I loved it back then and it was amazing to rewatch it with you after so many years. What a great movie

Cayley

❤️

Pablo Escobar

You should watch LA confidential

Theodus King

This was a movie I've been wanting to see because it always comes up on all time best movie lists so thank you for giving me a reason to finally watch it.

Fender Fox

I've never seen 12 angry men before, amazing movie. Henry Fonda I've only ever seen in the movie On Golden Pond with Jane Fonda, the last juror to vote not guilty was the detective on The Exorcist , Jack warden from Problem Child lol, if you do start getting into some of these older movies Leo you should watch some Clint Eastwood movies. Especially the latest ones he's done

NxChillNick

I remember a law class was talking about this movie when I was high school. Sounded boring but this was a great watch.

D-Matrix

Just like u looked it up because it was referred to in other films and tv shows a lot. I just searched on VUDU and found 2 versions. This was last year and now seeing you watch the OG version reminded me there is a more recent version as well. Hopefully ill catch that one too if u dont do it 1st.

Michele Pérez

Juror #7… Played by actor Jack Warden. Juror #7, the one with the baseball ticket. A little trivia, I don’t know if some of you recognized him??? If you’ve ever watched the movie While You Were Sleeping. He was Saul.

Michele Pérez

The actors in the first original version. We’re legends in the making. Henry Fonda, Jack Klugman, E. G. Marshall… legends. I saw the updated version . To each his own, I prefer the 1957 version of the film.

D-Matrix

Now that i finished it, I remember I have watched the 1997 version of it. Despite the great actors in the 97, the OG is best. I hope the director got an award. Every little thing, from the actors, the 3 windows, the towels, & that Damn Fan, were all characters AND important to the scenes. Kept it from getting stale. Otherwise this could’ve just been a ln audio podcast. But having those brief scenarios like windows getting jammed, the coughing & cough drops, the towel dispenser not working, that DAMN FAN, the temp outside, the game, the rain, even the chairs were all important and keep you invested in a frickin Black & White movie. A frickin Masterpiece

Joe Comohoyos

Its always fascinated me movies that take place in just one room. My favorite one is The Man From Earth

Rhonda Turner

I don't comment a lot, but I'm so glad you chose this movie - and I knew you would like it!!!! You are one of the first creators I subscribed to when I joined YT, and I gotta tell you how much I think you've grown as someone who leads us all in amazing conversations - love you Leo🥰🥰🥰

PsyMama

OMG, I cannot believe you are doing a reaction to this absolutely classic masterpiece of Hollywood filmmaking. We tore this movie apart upside down and every way round in film school. It has so much death and meaning and significance in every scene and character, it an absolute masterpiece. I’m so happy you decided to do a reaction to this. Love you as always big hugs. I know it’s absolutely disgusting and ridiculous that there’s not one person of color, not to mention women, to be found anywhere in the main plot, but that’s just the way the cookie crumbled, so sexist so racist so unbelievable, back then absolutely horrific no representation. Yet the movies they were creating were magnificent.

PsyMama

Two words: HENRY FONDA

PsyMama

Masterpiece right Leo?! 🥹

Elfa

This was great, I really enjoyed watching this movie! You should do more of this, picking movies that you are interested in watching Leo :)

Cassy98

Love the writing for this movie. The first thing Juror #3 mentions is that he had no personal feelings about this...when the whole time it was PERSONAL for him and he was trying to punish the defendant by voting guilty because of his personal issues with him and his son. The way he looked at the defendant while the judge was giving final instructions to the jury, his comments of "slapping those kids down before they start trouble" and him mentioning kids not calling their fathers "Sir" anymore (ironically he was disrespectful to the older man throughout the movie, that's why Juror #6 kept calling him out on how he was talking to the older man). His reasoning was more about him and his son than the actual case and it culminates by him ripping the picture of him and in son and then breaking down and saying NOT guilty. That "Not Guilty" was not only for the defendant but for his own son. Excellent writing.
