Clint Eastwood needs to be recognized as one of the GOATs of Hollywood. He started as an actor and eventually became a really good actor nominated for awards. However, he became a LEGENDARY director at some point in his career. "Unforgiven" established Clint Eastwood as more than just an actor. His direction in this film was fucking phenomenal. Also Leo.. another banger movie reaction.

Why did yet have so much ammo in these movies? Can't be easy to find in the middle of nowhere. Nebraska might be flat and suck and all, but the people are as down to earth as you'll get. I agree Nebraska sucks.

YaY! Clint Eastwood has a vast number of great films. Ya gotta get the Dirty Harry movies (Dirty Harry:1971, Magnum Force: '73, Sudden Impact: '83, The Dead Pool: '88) on the list! But I'm always down for more Eastwood westerns. I think you did Good, Bad, Ugly, but Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are by the same incredible director (Sergio Leone). And, there's the American westerns that he blazed a rugged trail....Hang 'Em High, Pale Rider, Outlaw Josie Wales....etc. And don't forget the Every Which Way triolgy where he plays a trucker with an orangutan partner! Fukkin legend for a reason... <3

Haha! That's like saying "Santa needs to be recognized as one of the GOAT's of holiday characters." He was a well established director far before Unforgiven and has almost as many directing and producing credits as acting! Leo should get Million Dollar Baby on the list. He'd love it!

Ned not wanting to go forward wasn't about missing the shot.. It's about him valuing life so much that he doesn't even want to finish the job, i.e, killing the men from the slashing. ..... throughout the entire film each character talks about how much life is worth.. including the whores saying we're still people, not horses.... westerns often make human life a trivial thing to be thrown away by the dozens.. this movie is the exact antithesis of that. Definitely deserved those 4 Oscars.. 🔥

The current generation doesn't know Clint Eastwood is a GOAT of Hollywood. If someone was born after 2000, they're not going to know much about his career; particularly about all the Westerns he was in before he started directing films. All they really know is a name. It should also be noted after "Unforgiven", the movie going public would see his films because he was directing and advertisement specifically highlighted him being director whereas in the past him being an actor was the primary appeal of the films he directed. Yes! We need a Million Dollar Baby reaction.

Eastwood learned so much about filmmaking from the great Sergio Leone, down to the *gun enters stage right" shots. I know you've done The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, but there's more great Leone out there - Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More with Eastwood, Once Upon a Time in the West with Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, and Jason Robards, and Once Upon a Time in America, which is not a western, but a NY mafia film with DeNiro, Cristopher Walken...must sees.
