Young Denzel is so damn fine. I remember watching this in a high school history class and they made fun of me for crying at the end lol

SubourbonMermaid

Ryan Buckley

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

ohh crap aight well i wasn't prepared to cry today but here we are! ever since they made us watch this in high school i get a little teary eyed 😥 when i watch it ..

Kevin Sevcech

Btw the first battle scene Antietam is in Maryland is considered the bloodiest battle of the civil war even more than the battle of Gettysburg

Reactions With Will

John q and remember the titans, amazing movies right there

MajorMayhem

Please do Daredevil for your next show.

Benjamin Herrera

No way!! Was not expecting this Gem right here!! Denzel is freaking Phenomenal 🔥

Anthony Muda

wasnt about the movie, i always put recommendations if i'm one of the first commenters.

Chaos T

If there's ever a historical event that could have been an event fixed by time travel agents, it's the circumstances around that battle. It's wild the Union conveniently found the Confederate movement plans for arguably the most important battle of the Civil War.

j0-2TiMEZz

Man we need that asap

Tony 2 Times

If we touching on Denzel, we must do The Equalizer🙏🙏🙏 thanks for another banger!!!!!

MSTORM

If you're going to recommend a movie, you might as well spell it correctly. lol Disturbia, Leo. The grammar police has spoken.

James Therian

What a throwback to Highschool- I've probably seen the first 30 minutes of this movie 8 times so Im definitely excited to finally see the end 😂 Cheers!!

BlakedAsFuh

we need Uncut Gems so he can finish off the Sandler movies

Offred84

Flight is Oscar worthy

Offred84

Flight is a great Denzel flick. ✈️🥃💀

Offred84

Mitch Coob

dmh killah

absolutely, flight was so good

Adam(Anti)

i've made liking your post for this as habitual as liking Leos movie post

Chaos T

RIP Andre Braugher

RowdyCloudy

Yeah if you don't have a soul 🤣. I wouldn't wish that ending on my worse enemy, absolutely sent chills up my spine 🥶🥶.

Chaos T

Forgot how good the score is in this film. James Horner's Oscar win was well deserved.

dmh killah

my favorite sports movie! excellent choice

Erin Black

Will you watch "LIFE AS A HOUSE", please. I have been asking for Reactors to watch it for 2 years. It would really mean a lot to me. And, are you ever planning to watch "House of the Dragon"? I know you are a "Game of Thrones fan like me, so you would love it. Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

IVAN OOZE

You gotta watch the Patriot /men of honor. Also yes the music is great bc it’s James Horner. You’ve def watched movies with his music before. Guys a legend

Mega

hell yeah!

kenny mannino

you should watch the long shot, fantastic movie also based on true story about Mexican golfers in the 1950s. very good movie

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

one of the most important movies in us history ..they buried shaw with black soldiers which the other side meant for it to be insulting but when they talked to shaws family they said thats what he would have wanted to be buried with his men

Koala

Great reaction video Mr Video. It was my first time with this movie as well.

HD

Denzel won the Oscar for this... 🔥

L1T K3Y

just here to remind everybody that Dr Cullen needs some sun

Madmanmarz1981

Happily suprised to see this pop up today Mr V. I have been a fan since it came out. I consider it to be a majorly important film. The cast , the Direction , and the fact it was based on letters Col. Shaw sent to his mother. I actually have the book it was based on but have not read it yet. (Bad/sad family stuff goin on for the last few months. Hard to retain what I have read.) And I noticed in the comments many mentioned they were crying at the end. I did the first time I watched it as well. It takes a powerful film to get that emotion out of people. So Thank you Leo , for sharing this reaction with us Sir. Peace

Summer Tyme and Mr J

Now that was going out real ones. No army could ask more than that for any soldier.

Jesse S

A very under rated movie you should watch called CHRONICLE (2012)

D-Matrix

Yup. Best supporting actor in 89. Crazy after all the other movies he did including Malcolm X, it took another 12 years for him to finally win another Oscar. And had to play a bad guy to do it. But he did play the hell out of that bad guy. Aye Leo! Is TRAINING DAY on the list yet or have u watched it already?

GenericStatue

I recommended this one on discord glad to see it

HD

He won when he should've won... this and training day are obviously his two best... Pacino was deserving too in Scent of a Woman. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sabrena S

Great choice Leo, love to you and your boys💚💙🔥

Pop_Pop_Taq

Few far and between they make movies like this now a days. Hits harder for me because I am such a history buff. I will always love this movie

Alyssa Dyson

I cry every time i see this. When everyone is still there in the morning after the confederates issued their statement. 😩🥹 this is such a great movie.

Ryan Buckley

That's one that got erased a year ago so so ): there's like almost a years worth of his reactions that are gone forever, some are still on YouTube, but YouTube went ham on Leo and got rid of dozens of videos too, I've seen people say that some of the deleted YouTube vids are on his discord if you haven't checked that out, I think the link is at the top pined comment :) Have a great weekend

Cayley

❤️

Alyssa Dyson

History will try to hide it but the Confederates were from the democratic party and the union were from the republican party. Before I educated myself I thought it was the other way around 🤷🏼‍♀️

RhythmicDrummer

Wow. I watched this when it first came out and remember being moved by it but holy hell! I didn't expect to get this emotional today. Another epic reaction Leo. Thank you again.

Stefan Williams

the perspectives and methods of these 2 parties changes nearly every decade. cant keep up.

Alucard

A Time to Kill would be another great choice if you want another movie to move you

Chuck M

Awesome leo this is a epic movie such strong performances by everyone really good, just hope we ain't headed to another civil war one day , but has anyone ever been to Atlantic beach in North Carolina there's a civil war fort , fort Macon it's crazy the engineering of it I want go back to it again, Google it if get a chance if Into civil war history

JAH2K6

Great movie. Still waiting for Fear of a Black Hat. And i just realized, you never did Transformers Dark Side of the Moon!!!!

James Thompson

I'd had this on my shortlist to watch for a while, so it was convenient watching it for the first time with you Leo. I'm not American and I don't know much about US history, so having somebody who's more emotionally attached to it watch along definitely made it more compelling. I know that Matthew Broderick was in a car accident and it killed 2 women in Ireland in 1987, and this movie came out in 1989.. I wonder if that affected his performance in this..dude was lookin like he had PTSD for real

Grace Michelli

I always cry at this movie..😩😪😭

PsyMama

Wow, I sobbed and sobbed

Elfa

This was very emotional to watch with you Leo, your reactions make every movie better! I'm so glad that I found you on youtube and here too. I'm very happy to be a member here in this awesome group! Btw. I'm smashing the like button on every music- and movie reaction I see from you on youtube and of course a subscriber too. I'm also typing your channel name and running through reactions every day now to help with the algorithm. I'm not obsessed lol just trying to help in every way I can because you have brought me so much joy! Love you Leo! Ps. I'm from Iceland so excuse me if I'm not writing this all the proper way in English.

Christopher Morgan

It wasn't about taking the fort.. it was about chipping in and boy did they ever...

Chaos T

It should be noted if there was no Irish immigration in the US, President Lincoln probably wouldn't have been elected president. The fledgling Republican party in the 1850's and 1860's couldn't have been a thing without a wing dedicated towards fighting for progressive things at the time along with support from waves of immigration. Comparing the Republicans of 1860 to what they've become in 2024 is very wild and kind of surreal. It's difficult to identify when it happened but at some point the core ideology of both parties change.
