Bro I must say I'm so proud of you for sticking to this DBZ schedule lol. To answer your question on why it takes so long at times to gather energy is because basically they are moving as fast as the speed of light. So when you hear "it will take 5 minutes" but to us as watchers it's like 15 or 20 instead; it's because they are actually moving faster than the eye can see for normal spectators. That's why Gohan in this episode was having trouble following piccolo in his training when he zips away. If you can't see them you have to learn how to feel them out. In other words sense them. Gohan needs to learn how to fight, see, and sense. I went off subject lol. Hopefully that answers your question for the power ups taking so long. Good reaction 💪🏾
