I was always curious why no one just called home amd see if he answered. This is 1980 something, and they have an answering machine that you can hear the messages as they are coming in. But that does help the story 😂

You always hear names of made up in a show or a movie the characters going to watch, but you've never really seen a old made up movie just for the Main movie. That's next level! It was the 90's, and they didn't call home, because the phone/power lines were knocked out before the family left, and the guy told the mother that the power was back, but the phones wouldn't be on for a few days.

Leo, TSA was formed 8 days following 9/11 in 2001. There was no added security, taking shoes off, limiting liquids, etc before then. This was filmed about 11 years before 9/11. Today, yeah they would have missed the flight.

Definitely a Classic. When i was a kid, me, my cousins on both sides of the family all had this VHS. We literally watch it, rewind it, and play it again when we couldnt go outside and play. Always in the VCR if not TMNT.

No, no one has seen that movie that Kevin is watching, because the movie isn't real. They simply made it for Home Alone. A movie within a movie. Same thing with Home Alone 2...he watches the sequel to this movie. But again, it's not a real movie.

What's cool about the old guys story is that if you notice in the beginning of the movie he had a bad hand injury. But as the movie goes on his hand is slowly healing. The last time you see him when he reunites with his son his hand is completely healed. Signifying that time heals all wounds .

macaulay’s younger brother kieran culkin plays fuller in the movie which reminded me to suggest ‘succession’ for a future tv show reaction!!! he’s incredible in that, the whole show is 10/10 🤝

Joe Pesci is hilarious. Lol Daniel Stern who played Marv, is also pretty funny. He stars in this film called "Bushwhacked" and it's about boyscouts and it's one of my favorite films by him ❤️.

Funny thing, last year for Christmas at the dollar general I found the gator crunch chips Kevin is eating in the recliner. They weren't very good 😆 also the last few years I've seen the news talking about how much money the family must have had to own that house/ go to Paris/ pay for the whole family etc... the mannequins and sewing machines suggest one or both parents are fashion designers? You can look it up for accuracy, I'm just remembering bits and pieces of what they said. Kinda neat
