I understand - some people first watched it with a certain soundtrack and I totally understand that. The original is how he has been watching it thus far so a very big change at this point is jarring.

Now THIS is DBZ!!! I discovered DBZ through the Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku 2 video game for Gameboy Advance, and these are the tracks that played during that game.

Ok there is sadly one drawback of the Bruce Fuckingher version that I love, and that's that it's edited. There's was a version called DBZ Uncut on Cartoon Network after a while where they got the funimation version of 1st 68 episodes. Yours looks like it was copied right from the TV broadcast. Which is kinda dope, but also before it was HD. Pros and cons for both versions but I missed the outcome music when the narrator chimes in. Also certain fighters have their own theme songs. Like Vegeta has one called Hell's Bells, and another one. Ginyu had one for his body swap move which made the 1st time feel so creepy. But as for silence, there is none. Music player the entire episode. Again, pros and cons.

i'll still watch either version but be careful there are other english versions where its different voice actors for characters like goku and vegeta.

Not gonna lie- this version is over hyped to the point people ignore the down sides- lower video quality and some lines/ scenes have changed to be more "kid friendly" - I prefer the OG as Goku's personality seems more playful in this one and less serious. IMO maybe Leo should have stuck with the other version since we got this far anyway on that OG vibe. OG is called OG for a reason but who knows, maybe the music change will outweigh the other changes to Leo. Cheers!!

This is the DBZ I grew up watching. Love this music. The quality is whatever. I can deal with it. No biggie.

I mean I guess I can watch some of it like this but I don’t think I’d be able to handle the whole series with this music lol IT NEVER STOPS and constantly changes 🫨Reminds me of what they do with fast changing images for Cocomelon (kids show) to keep them addicted but here its with music 😅 No wonder these lot are screaming “its so intense!” 😂 OG dbz was intense enough for me so this is overkill imo and like someone else said, kinda “jarring” to listen for too long. I’d suggest maybe alternating between both versions from time to time? 🤷🏻‍♂️
