mrcinsc

Just a heads up that Peacemaker Season 2 and Gen V season 2 are around the corner. You always say you want to be on top of new shows and get some good YouTube videos. This would be a great time to power watch some stuff to get caught up. Throwing this Hail Mary for it and maybe an old school yeet on the couch

Sai

We gonna need wicked next lol

E

The Substance was a big movie from last year 👀

Michael

Let’s goooo I dunno what this is but let’s goooo!

SpicyRikers

Somehow I fucking KNEW you would be puttin this one out man, it looks good and I've been excited to see it, lets smoke up!

Michael

Check out Avatar movies pleaseeee!

CHROME DeePo

See it in theaters first for sure

Violet

I appreciate what you do! I hope you start The Hobbit soon. You LOVED LOTR so much and it was popular, I know you'd enjoy The Hobbit movies!! They are more action-y but less faithful to the books. And it would be a nice change of page. And don't you want to see how Bilbo got the ring and met Gollum and became rich?

Mitch Coob

Agree with @CHROME, theater experience was insane

Mr. Video

This one was wild; I was so locked in I might not have commented on a few things ...like towards the end when Sammie was getting dunked in the water. I don't know why baptism didn't pop into my head; I know that had some correlation there!!

EZ

Only heard of this movie through Shane gillis' review

Kluneberg

i guess its a good thing i chose to not see it over the weekend

DomiLovesMuzik

LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this movie and Im about to lock in and watch it again with Leo!

Soph

Please do meet the Fockers and bring it on all or nothing

Kluneberg

eh flavor of the week reactions are just for view chasers. theres 90 years of cinema to catch up on first.

CHROME DeePo

Random fact for yall, both movies Life and Sinners take place in 1932 Mississippi. And The penitentiary Claude and Ray end up at is just 30min away from Clarksdale where Sinners is set. Therefore, LEO THA GOD… it’s time for LIFE 1999

Kevin Landon

Dam, EVERYBODY is reacting to this movie this week, I just bought and will watch with you for the first time though, leggo!

Adam(Anti)

Thanks Leo, i appreciate it!

EZ

leos gotta paint his face green for that

Adam(Anti)

i think you will like the vampire comedy movie, What We Do in the Shadows(2014) Its like the office but with vampires

SpicyRikers

we should all annoy him and make him do that itd be funny xD

Sai

React to the new wicked!!!!! You will like it I just know it lol

Channell

Thank you Leo

BlakedAsFuh

This movie was fire!🔥🔥

David Rositas

I signed back up just for this. Thank you homie!

The 15

really love seeing you do a fresh release like this, keep it up king

Max Hill

watched this 2 days ago, so happy to watch it again

DomiLovesMuzik

Leo the part when Sammie is singing "I love the blues" they are showing the evolution of blues music by showing the past musicians and dancers and those that will come in the future. So yes spirits from the past and future. GOATED scene

EZ

That was a trippy scene

EZ

Guess Leo doesn't know the trait of vampires where they need an invite to go inside someone's house

Kevin Landon

I was gonna do my first watch with him, but very glad I watched it by myself and gave it the attention it deserved, imma rewatch it tomorrow with Leo, but holy shit this movie is good

Kevin Landon

Ok, this movie was AMAZING! My only gripe being(Spoilers) that everyone realistically should have died once the vampires attacked. Them running away for like 30 seconds after Annie died took me out. I know I'm overthinking it, but they just stood in the open and 50 vampires couldn't overwhelm them? Then Smoke kills Remmick like Arya did the knight king 🤣🤣🤣 I was a little disappointed with the ending until the mid credits scene. I think I will enjoy more on a rewatch. Still a GREAT movie, with multiple spin off opportunities(Indian vampire hunters & Stack and Mary in present time)

Manuel Aguilar

First time watching. I guess I’ll do it with Leo.

FranciscoU

Same! I heard it was good and I’m about to eat so fuck it!

Alucard

Now you have to watch From Dusk Till Dawn, ha. .

CaptNRetro

the clear metaphor of white people stealing black music and culture is pretty dead on

Felicia Wiggins

The Irish were definitely considered lowest on the Caucasian totem pole so to speak so u were definitely not wrong regarding Remmick's idealogy!

Jesse S

Just watched this for the first time yesterday it was amazing

Andrew S

Please watch How to Train your Dragon 2&3, and " I Love You, Man " with Paul Rudd aka Ant-Man great movies

D-Matrix

That's all I've heard is how great it is and I believe it. Plus I have no problem spending money supporting Ryan Coogler films. My pops passed this year and he loved em.

FranciscoU

Holy shit this movie was actually so good. The music made it so much better, especially those Irish songs. Never thought those kinds of songs could be used to add suspense and anxiety but damn

Huniii

I've been waiting to watch this for the first time with Leo hell yea boi

Chaos T

First time seeing this film and got damn emotional from Buddy Guy being in this film. That dude is one of the f'ing GOAT's that influenced many legendary guitarist that Mr. Video got hyped over on his music channel. Also, there's comedy at 1:04:08 in the tense moment. Remmick is playing the Banjo which is an instrument that evolved through African American strife since the formation of the United States. He's an amazing antagonist. It's hilarious he made absolute racists that hated African and Irish Americans become part of a singing group that plays music inspired by both of those cultures influencing the American identity.

Violet

I gotta rent this to watch it really quickly first so I can watch it with you! I'm excited for this one!! I hope you'll finish the Borat and Beavis and Butthead movies! You've been doing a great job finishing series and it's been a bit since a comedy! Drop Dead Gorgeous is another hilarious look at beauty pageants with a MAJOR cast but it's from a small town perspective and someone from the office is in it!!!

SageOfSixDabs

Hell yeah. Been waiting to see this jawn and now it's here, for free, with my boy. Lfg.

dmh killah

Drip drop be annoying af. Stfu with your bitch ass. It's definitely happening at some point. Leo already said he was gonna get to it. So why u gotta be a douche bag all the time hating on other ppl's request.

Angel Pantoja

Aye side question Leo, have you seen Al Pacino movies? Scarface? the godfather, devils advocate?

dmh killah

He's seen the first 2 godfathers. The 2nd one is in deleted reactions on the discord

Angel Pantoja

Word ima have to check those out. Good looking out

Itss_NattyJ

This is a first... I'm watching something new for the first time with you, Leo!! EDIT: Omg, this film lived up to the hype. Everyone was amazing, but man, Ryan Coogler knocked the direction and storytelling out the park!! Hailee Steinfeld has always been one of my favorite young performers -- singer, dancer, actress -- my girl can really do it all (Hawkeye, Pitch Perfect, Arcane, Spider Gwen, etc.)! She really killed her role here as Mary and I am so happy that she could pull her experience of being mixed race from her real life (her maternal grandfather was half Filipino and African-American). Michael B.Jordon of course smashed it, as well as Wunmi Mosaku (Annie Smoke's lady), Delroy Lindo, and my new crush 🥰 Jack O'Connell (Remmick). The actor that played Sammie blew me away!! Never seen or heard of him before, but I'll have to look out for more of Myles Caton's (Sammie) work...what a musical talent!

Itss_NattyJ

Same reaction to Buddy Guy as me, being a Chicago native and used to hang out with his granddaughter Shawnna back in the day. It really made me proud and had a smile on my face the entire time he was on screen.

Jesse S

Leo you should watch the movie that made Michael B Jordan famous. “Chronicle” (2012)

Rosey K120

Me and my best friend went to go see it in theaters that night driving back home was just eerie as hell especially because of where we live(a small ghost town in Louisiana)However watching this in theaters was everything!!!I wanted to go watch it again😂

DRIP DROP

🤡 thats all I got for someone that cant spell

The Joy

You defo need to react to From Dusk Till Dawn if you haven’t already. Shout out Bonafide

Violet

I just finished watching it on my own and I gotta say it lived up to the hype but not because it is scary. I love all types of horror and this wasn't really a horror movie. It was a great movie that had vampires in it. Either way, great flick!

Nya Johnson

Remmick is Irish and they dealt with racism too upon coming to America. If you weren't white America then you pretty much got treated as an outcast

Carlos Fuentes

Gotta do the Creed movies Leo , those were his best roles

bionikl

Reminds me of 30 days of night

Mika R

You need to start the series True Blood. I think you will like it!!

Chaos T

It was hilarious seeing the turned KKK members who were more than likely English in origin having to play Irish folk/Irish inspired tunes.

Midnight Crypt Worx

Random, but you talking about how back in the day they couldnt do twins well, watch Multiplicity with Michael Keeton. Great movie and great effects back in the day.

NoChilWil72

Great MBJ movies Creed 1-3 and Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

fire_chief🌿🔥🌬️😶‍🌫️

Me and you are reacting to it together right now. I was excited then said it was a vampire movie and honestly kind of got disappointed or had little bit lower expectations for it. But, we shall see after seeing and watching this movie. Aha

SageOfSixDabs

I enjoyed this mf highly. It's not the way I thought it was gonna go with the date and place being given at the start, I for sure thought there would be a time skip much sooner but it was great. The soundtrack was crazy. Between the blues and Irish slip jig music, there were hits left and right. I was curious about how killing the main Vamp would allow them to have their own free will basically but they didn't really touch on it. Wonder if we'll see a sequel so they can explain the lore a bit more. I was also hoping both twins would get to be vamps and live on together but after Smoke seeing his baby girl, I knew that was the right choice instead.

~ ChelZee ~

Wow. Why put spoilers in your public comment. Dang.

NeptuneBaby

Hey Leo! Let me just start by saying I SCREAMED when i realized you posted this on YouTube! I ran straight to Patreon and got my food ready because Sinners deserves everyone’s undivided attention. As someone who has seen this movie in theaters almost 7 times in a month, it is worth it. I can’t wait to see what you have to say about it OMG!

Mariano Ortiz

Dont forget "I Am Sam" with Dakota Fanning to

SageOfSixDabs

I mean, I waited an entire day and it's a whole paragraph as well. Kind of hard to "accidentally" read a full paragraph but my bad either way.

Violet

I hope you consider Drop Dead Gorgeous for the next chick flick!! It's HILARIOUS and seeing how much you enjoyed Miss Congeniality, I KNOW you'd love this look at the dark side of beauty pageants in small towns!! It has someone from the Office, someone you think is sexy!!!!

Jordan

MBJ is a beast… and this is the best movie I’ve seen in theaters in a long long time. They don’t make them like this much any more

bitchnug

yessssssssss

John padre

Somebody hasn't seen the movie yet and looks at the comment's rather than watching the full movie reaction above, spoilers are out the window. You didnt spoil anything.

John padre

And I also never thought about killing the head bitch would give them free will or would the one turned earier be the leader. That means little mary is the head bitch . Vampire lore bullshit, ha.

The Irish Buddhist

What an amazing film this is.. love the cultural respect it pays to many old world beliefs around the world.. and ties it into a rich/dark part of history. Amazing Blues and Irish Folk tributes through out. Powerful storytelling and cinematic performances that are lost in most film these days.

Fatal N Felony

great movie! i really liked the ending with stack and mary getting to be together without fear since they're apex now lol love vampire shit

D-Matrix

I just watched this movie twice b4 I came back to watch it here. When 1992 Stack told Sammie that was the last time he saw his brother, and it showed them hugging... why dafuq did I break down 😢 and I mean bawling 😭. I had to text my Lil brother immediately just to tell him I love him.

Lincoln

I enjoyed this one but it didn't live up to all the hype imo. That ending was very cool though.

Huniii

re watched this with Leo a casual 20 times

Jeremy Skye

This is basically From Dusk Til Dawn. Same plot, same basic length, same types of characters.

Huniii

gun for a dick man what the hell where can i watch this movie this is urgent

Charles House

Wow. Powerful. I almost cried when Stack talked about his last day. And Leo there are some real musicians making good music but you gotta search for it.

xavier

fruitvale station young micheal b jordan based on true story very emotional movie its a must react broo

xavier

Kentrell

Seen this reaction already but 15:05-15:17 killed me that’s facts 😂💯
