re Stand near me

Watch "re Stand near me" on Streamable.

Comments

Mitch Coob

Any update on Bourne Supremacy and Oceans Twelve? You said they were both coming way back in March. Would be cool to finally wrap those series up. Thanks Leo 🙏🏼

Channell

I don’t normally suggest movies but can you watch Coach Carter w Samuel Jackson you won’t regret it

Summer Tyme and Mr J

Hobbit trilogy this Summer would be icing on the cake....or The Next Karate Kid.

Andrew S

Another of my suggestions, Let's go can't wait to watch it with you dude, Please watch Heavyweights (1995) and Beverly Hills Ninja with the Legend Chris Farley, great movies

Violet

Hope you're having a great day, Leo!! Please consider Drop Dead Gorgeous for the next chick flick, I know you will laugh your ass off! And please consider Longlegs, Late Night with the Devil, or The Last Exorcism for the next horror movie. And please consider Borat 2, Year One or the second Beavis and Butthead movie for the next comedy! Thank you for doing so many great movies!!

HashKetchum

Can we start getting some polls of movie choices for you to react to every once in a while? Would be a nice change from the random drops. You’re one of the only reactors I follow that has near 0 involvement from their community.

Mr. Video

every-time i poll something all the comments say "do something else" "the people that voted are dumb" then arguments occur in the comments!!but i will be polling these next movies actually all the ones being put in the comments because im confused on what to watch first, all i see are suggestions now so its kind of confusing...hopefully polling solves the issue

Nathan

Classic flick no recs needed thanks Leo!

Cayley

Hi Leo ❤️. This movie had me crying the first time round 😢.

Kluneberg

hell yeah! if you're looking for another summertime movie but one thats a little more lighthearted, i recommend Without a Paddle (2004) and Nature Calls (2012), nature calls has Patrice O'Neal and Johnny Knoxville.

Saraka Smith

Leo, off topic but I saw you react to the Breakfast Club and Ferris Beuller’s Day off. If you enjoyed that, you would also enjoy Dutch, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Weird Science, She’s Having a Baby and Sixteen Candles.

Kluneberg

i always confuse it with lean on me cuz its also a movie and song

dmh killah

I haven't seen this since I was like 13 or so. Lol the leaches scene, still haunts me.

Rhoda J

Hi 👋 Leo , love when you serenade us with a song 😂, I’ve seen this movie but it’s been a while, looking forward to rewatching with you, oh and I will pass on Joes Apartment creepy crawlers don’t sound too good, keep smiling 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓨𝓸𝓾 💕🫶🏻💕🐐

Violet

That's why I try to put what genre my recommendations are. That way if you want a comedy a chick flick or a horror movie Etc plus I only recommend movies that are big with other reaction channels like ones that a lot of channels have already done that you're missing out on that I know you would like I don't really recommend anything super obscure.

Steevn Sonder

Lean On Me could also be a 🔥 movie lol

Violet

Oh my gosh The Hobbit movies I'm so surprised he hasn't done them yet

james b

Check out trainspotting It's a great movie

Shep

This is not my favorite film, but I do believe it is the best film ever made. It captures so much vulnerability and uncertainty kids feel that so many people overlook and grow indifferent to a the years go by. These boys do not have happy childhoods but they live and breath for each other and make life worth living, and that stays with them even when they go their separate ways. I can never forget this film.

Nunya Business

Nice Leo. Lots of posts lately, appreciate you!

GameGod

Make a timed poll with like 20 movies allowing up to like 5 selections, then watch the top 5. Make use of the features Patreon gives you and I guarantee you will have an easier time.

IVAN OOZE

Don’t poll. Just keep doing you

Blade

One of my favorite movies! I have "yeah, but so what? Everybody's weird" tattooed on my arm.

Shane Normand

Great movie one of my favorites. Can you finish Rocky?

Keese

not for me but ill always drop a like

j0-2TiMEZz

Yea fam but the arguing and complaining happens in every content creator comments when they do the polls but once u keep doing it and stay committed to the polls that win, the ppl that do complain will stop, the reason y they do fam cause they kno they can influence or sway u to change ur pick but when it comes to it not everyone gonna be happy fam but when u do the polls, it is wat it is when it come to that majority vote, the ppl have spoken and wateva wins just stick too it, but at the end of the day bruh u can’t make everyone happy

HashKetchum

Leo, you succumb to the noise too easily (DBZ as an example) just pick some movies YOU want to see or that you have seen a high volume of people recommending and throw them in a poll and live with the results and ignore whatever noise follows. You seem to be the type of person that wants to please everybody and that’s just not possible in life and especially in your field of work. Glad to hear you’re bringing the polls back tho 👍🏼

Itss_NattyJ

Yes, a classic! Now that you've reacted to Stand By Me, please react to THE OUTSIDERS (1983) as the next movie. 🙏 It's in the same vein as Stand by Me, maybe a bit darker in tone. Along with a pre-Karate Kid era Ralph Macchio, whose character is named Johnny, the movie also features very young versions of Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Diane Lane, C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, and your boy Patrick Swayze. A fully stacked cast and great story.

Kluneberg

@ivan but what if The Gabagools win the poll?

Flukemarm

Been waiting on this reaction ever since Stranger Things started.

Flukemarm

The Stephen King movie 'Pet Sematary' (1989) is parodied in the upcoming South Park S9E9. Definitely worth checking out.

Julian YT

Bros got some real vocals!!

Flukemarm

Lol I wanted that Joe's Apartment reaction so bad, I remember you announcing it and then "HELL NO I'M NOT UPLOADING THIS".

Flukemarm

Aw man I wish they didn't lead the movie with the stabbing headline, it only comes at the end of the short story and it wrecked me.

Kluneberg

also the kid that plays the main character Gordie is on the next Star Trek show after the original series, ST: The Next Generation with Patrick Stewart.

Shane Normand

Another great John Cusack movie is Better Off Dead a funny 80s comedy

Shane Normand

I had this soundtrack on cassette. Loved it

Danger Tomato

Are you polling on patreon or discord because the discord people really are dumb and pick horrible movies.

Jiggy Justin

One of my favourites and an absolute classic

E

Very good pick Leo Drive( Ryan Gosling) Dogma(Ben Affleck, Matt Damon) Battle royale (Japanese film) Bohemian Rhapsody (the Queen Movie) The Substance (craziest movie of last year) The Lighthouse(Major been asking 🙏) DeathProof(Quentin Tarantino) Rosemary's baby 1968(Classic horror)

VYV77

You made my day again. I just figured you'd seen it already or it was one of the lost ones. Just glad you found your way to it. Every time you do a classic, I have to re-recommend "The Hustler" 1961. As always, looking forward to more.

Sabrena S

Thanks Leo! Please react to The Outsiders, similar vibe with major actors when they just started out. Another classic 💚

Saraka Smith

heavyweights is so hilarious

Nathan

boogie nights on the poll!

Saraka Smith

Leo, I highly doubt Weird Science will make the poll but if it does, and happens to lose I will just have to accept it. But omg is it hilarious! Same director as The Breakfast Club.

Adam(Anti)

Thanks Leo! I remember you being very critical of how Joes Apartment looked lol, Everything Everywhere All at Once is another movie you reacted too but never uploaded. If you recall, you lost it on a failed hard drive.

Cassy98

I'm just here to watch Leo sing and jam out to "Stand By Me". He did not disappoint....LOL!!!

Cayley

Homeward Bound (1993) Recon you would get loads of views for this.

BlakedAsFuh

sidenote i seen my first dead body as a 13 yr old too shit fucks ya up for a minute.

Ryan Buckley

You have a great heart Leo🙏

E-Hensley

When I was growing up we always did the skin handshake. Brought back some memories on this one

Saraka Smith

Strange Darling will mess you up good along with The Substance.

Cesar

Ain’t no way 🔥

Shane Normand

You sound like you're not a big fan of capitalism commie

Shane Normand

If you see this Leo don't take it personally I'm just being facetious

mrcinsc

I understand you’re hesitant on a poll considering you had one that was clearly rigged and you don’t want people arguing, but it’s your patreon, bro. Put up a poll, if people don’t like it, too bad. I vote in polls all the time and when the movie or show I want doesn’t win life goes on. You’ll get to the one people want eventually, but it would be nice to have some interaction with you more here with polls or comments. Either way, you’re golden, Leo. Hope you’re doing well.

Nathan

I think watch whatever peaks your interest. If you see someone in the comments talk about a movie and it looks good, watch it. if you see something online and it looks good, watch it. Truthfully I think polling could lead to the same mainstream picks every reaction channel watches which isn’t always a bad thing but It’s your love for older movies and willingness to watch whatever that keeps me over on Patreon. So just keep doing you, polls or not.

danzthename

I love it when Leo can't help but break into song! This movie has some incredible music. The ending always guts me. It's true. We never have friendships quite like those we have when we're kids.

bitchnug

wait, is there a Mr. Video Joe's Apartment video floating around?!

C

south park plz :)

Vito

Banger movie one of my favorites, also based on a Stephen king short story. You should do a Stephen king marathon would be dope. You’ve already done a lot of movies adapted from his books, but there’s still a ton you haven’t done

Reinmaker

I've never seen this one before but its been on my Radar. Found it fun watching it with Leo for the first time. I'll try to watch it again by myself later

BlakedAsFuh

@Danger Tomato you know like 80% of what he seen was recommended on discord right?

Dudicus Bolt

All my life I kept getting Stand By Me and Lean On Me mixed up lol.

LostAce X

FILMED in my state <3

Chuck M

I actually just watched this last Friday while sitting with mom she had stroke fee weeks ago and bed ridden we both love this movie this is her music I grew up with , but I'll chill and enjoy it with you Leo, and check out Jerry O'Connell in Tom cats and buying the cow crazy funny movie's

Kluneberg

yeah im little concerned about the mainstream flavor of week reactions too. hopefully its still mostly watching what piques his interest.

Shep

I forgot how much I related to Teddy and Gordie. Seeing you groove to the song at the end really was the best part of this video. Much love, Leo.

Flukemarm

The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally are two comedies by the same director, Rob Reiner (the fat guy against cigarettes in season 7 of South Park)

astrobuckshot

Great reaction, Mr. V. Chris Chambers was played by Joaquin Phoenix's brother River Phoenix. He was a great young actor, but unfortunately died of a drug overdose at 23.

VYV77

Second Battle Royal and Rosemary's Baby.

slackerer

probably the feldog's best role

janscrazy

I watched this when I was 7, and the barf scene was like top tier cinema. Thru out my childhood that's the thing I remembered about it lol. Not the dead body, the barf story.

Jason Rooney

Was friends with someone from birth till 20ish years old. Within a year his grandma died then his mom and he found out I was sleeping with his sister. We haven't spoke a word in at least 10 years now

CJ

Rest in Peace River Phoenix. He definitely would’ve been up there with Keanu, Leo, & all the other greats today if he never died. If not that then a successful music artist.

Nicky A

Sir Goofy is a dog.

wokka

One of my favourite movies growing up, been a minute since I have seen it. Let's go 💪

CattFink!

This is my all time favorite movie. Forever. I can recite it nearly word-for-word, but always always always love watching it anyway. This made my night.

Madmanmarz1981

Glad you did this one. : ] Saw it in the theater 1st run. If you are a fan of the film , you really should read the novella in King's Different Seasons. It hits just as hard , if not harder than the film. Peace

Robert Miller

RIP River Pheonix. Kid had some great talent.

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

SUCK MY FAT ONE ! ..good movie ,leo dont act like you didnt some wild things as a kid ,i never seen a dead body but we defintly smoked some cigs and peeped on some girls and playee with a gun or 2 😬... man miss being a kid..weird how when your a kid you cant wait till your grown and when your an adult you wish you could go back 🥲

Keevee Venegas

I've never been a victim of mailbox baseball but in my younger days I was a player

Sem Vikingr

Tracy Chapman did a short cover of Stand By Me on the Conan show some years ago. As you might expect: it was beautiful and soulful.

Linda

I have one thing to say to you Leo...we need more of you singing!!! Great reaction and so glad you enjoyed this classic. ❤️

SageOfSixDabs

Staaaaaaand! Stand by meeeee! Wild movie. Freaked me out as a kid, especially the pie eating stuff lol.

Sara Croughan

This is a great movie. I'm glad you're reacting to it. I'm going to watch it here and then let it play through on YouTube to give it the view and like as well as comment

EZ

Rip fucking River Phoenix man 😭 Gone at the young age of 23 to drug overdose, man I fucking hate what Hollywood does to these kids man, he wouldve been one of the greatest actors today. This movie is so good but it's just so damn sad

Adam(Anti)

No, he did the reaction but he thought the movie looked so bad that it would mess up his youtube algorithm, so he somewhat talked about it in a video, explained he didnt want to take the risk

Studawtf

Excellent choice of a film, glad to see it.

Jim

This was so good. A movie that stands the test of time.

Jesse S

Great movie Leo thanks for this one

SuperSayinDennisReynolds

IDIOCRACY NEXT! Super appropriate for whats going on in the world right now! It's SO funny. You gonna die bro

Raebo1979

Okay with the pipes!!!

Filby Pott

Can I request Misery? It's another Stephen King movie from this era, really amazing acting

Shep

He did that a long time ago before Google nuked his YT channel. There's a ton of reacts he did that are forever lost.

TXCountryGal

I feel the same about Heath Ledger, i know he's Not in this movie, but Still, Heath's death was due to what THEY say it was an "accidental overdose", but i think Most of us Already know that this is what the Shitty ASSHoLES in Hollywood do to these young actors, which is to get them used to doing drugs and/or drinking too much alcohol every day and then once the actors are addicted to their drug(s) of their choice then it becomes harder every day for them to get off of their nasty vice(s). It SUCKS and Hollywood is to blame for it All, but i also blame it on the parents who push their kid(s) into this type of Shitty life (such as what happened to the other Corey, Not this Corey Feldman, but the other Corey, as in Corey Haim), what a shame that parents do this to their own kids (such as with Brittney Spears). SMH. :-( Hey Leo, Maybe someday you can also react to "License to Drive", which stars Both Corey's and in real life, the two Corey's became real close friends and it left Corey Feldman real depressed for a long time after his friend Corey Haim passed away.

TXCountryGal

You know what's sort of funny and weird? For some weird (somewhat funny) reason, every time i would see this Title of this movie, i Always used to think that this was the movie about the black Principal (Joe Clark) who was a TRUE Story about his students, but the more i looked into it (Silly Me, lol!) i realize Now that that movie is called "Lean On Me", so Please react also to that one, Leo 'cause we know you'll love that one too, and in that movie (with Joe Clark) they Do use the song with the movie title, and in the movie the kids and the choir teacher end up singing it, we know you'll love that movie too. So have a good Monday Leo and Y'all too. :-)

Jesse Ewing

I think I can speak for everyone, We love your singing!! ❤️❤️

Steevn Sonder

Rob we will never forget your contributions to the world🕊️
