Bear with me... I understand Ryan and Kelly's relationship... I understand Dwight and Angela's relationship... For a time I even understood Pam and Roy's relationship.... For The LIFE Of me I can Not Understand Michael's and Jan relationship... We've ALWAYS seen Jan annoyed by this man, because he said the dumbest shit, and almost got her fired... Then it turns out she can't get enough of him in bed which is also a mystery, because he himself said he couldn't hang with her... Now after he breaks up with her she go do some soul searching, get a boob job, then come beg to take her back? By the way... Dwight has my respect today

Her relationship with Michael always seemed to be a dom thing for me. Michael could have been horrible in bed but she still got pleasure taking advantage of Michael; someone she viewed weaker than her. You see this type of personality in many higher up corporate types where their kink is dominating people it's just what's different with this series is it was portrayed from the female perspective. In that respect, this show was somewhat groundbreaking for Network TV.

But if Jan's thing was domination, and this is supposed to be from the females prospective then why did it always show her annoyed mostly, and why couldn't she control Michael? Why didn't it show her point of view instead of Michael's during certain points of the relationship if she is the dominant one? You know what... Ignore this... I just remembered Jan did show some feelings for Michael to Jim one night when they was talking way back in season 2... Both of them was down, and leaving, and Michael was taken at the time. I forgot about the other girlfriend... Jan was just starting to warm up to Michael when that happened

Huh? Are you really that confused? What objective did the writers of this show have when creating her character? She is SUPPOSED to create the dynamic where Michael can't deviate from her against his own nature... DUE to her toxic femininity. For anyone to indict a viewer for the same is an entire waste of time and energy.... and entirely obtuse to the character's intended effect. The things you ask questions to is why this episode is really good imo. There's a lot to unwrap with Jan's character. In this episode, her perspective was from someone in a powerful position manipulating someone she controlled. Jan didn't know she was fired when she got her chest worked on by a surgeon from the heavens. Why didn't she control him at times? Well that's something I learned a long time ago in the government/corporate environment. Don't stick your pen in the company ink. It goes both ways. Legally, Michael Scott could have sued the hell out of Dunder Mifflin if it was discovered through litigation Jan used her position to control him in his job. Jan is intelligent enough to at least understand controlling Michael outside of the bedroom was never going to be a thing and potentially could lead to bad things with the company.

Yeah but when I say control I'm talking relationship wise, and sexually... Not business. But having this conversation makes me understand a little more why she would like Michael. Business wise Jan was very feared, but Michael kept doing his own (stupid) thing no matter what Jan said. Not only that, but she did come off a divorce wanting kids at one point, and Michael was there to talk to her about that... I don't know... Maybe it's just "the right kind of wrong" when it comes to those two

Why do you seem mad? No one said anything bad about leo. I've been watching since he was doing music videos on the projection tv. I disagree with his takes quite a bit. He can hate/like and watch whatever he wants. Not agreeing isn't hating. But to the point, i simply said I've never met ANYONE not see jan for what she is, almost immediately. She's written to manipulate micheal, not the viewer. We're supposed to catch a lot of shit micheal doesn't. Its always a little confusing to hear a take you've never heard anyone have. That's all. Anything more is you taking this all wrong. Now I'm confused by your reaction

Why did Michael give Dwight his job? He didn't even have the corporate job yet nor does he have the authority to give his job to someone else. Plus, Jim is the #2 in the office anyway so corporate would have more than likely given the job to Jim, not Dwight. Now Michael stuck with Jane with no job and probably living with him. That's what he gets for getting back with her because of her boob job....SMH!!!! I also noticed that David Wallace said he didn't like the HR rep at the office, just like Michael hates Toby at the Scranton office. Man, HR reps get no love. And Pam's face when Jim asked her out on a date was priceless. It was worth the 3 seasons of waiting. And Ryan has been waiting to dump Kelly and now this new job gives him a way out....SMH!!!

I think your description right kind of wrong is perfect. They're both very toxic for one another. Jan is a control freak and Michael is a beta male and she loved the control she had over him. I think that she loves that. He fears her. She gets off on it. Michael at the end of the day. Just wants to be loved And I don't think he even really knows what he wants. He's always too scared to tell the truth when it comes down to it. But I'll be honest, I was confused by their relationship for a while as well. But when you go back and rewatch it, you see it differently. Jan is definitely a bit psychotic, especially as we see in future episodes. Not a good fit for Michael at all in my opinion lol.

I ran into the same little issue and i think this is what's going on: If you click on the "Home" button, there you'll find Leo's most recent reactions and that's where you might see the other "missing" Episodes of The Office. I too was Not able to view his latest Episode of The Office (3 x 23) until i went to the "Home" button and that's where i found that "missing" Episode (3 x 23) because i think Leo forgot to add the 3 x 23 Episode to his "The Office list", so IF you're reading this Leo, Please don't forget to add your latest reactions (3 x 22 And 3 x 23) to your "The Office list".
