This movie is a trip. The first half is a disturbing, uncomfortable suspense thriller, then turns into a wild drive-in slasher. The dialog is nothing short of heroic. The key to good coffee is not to use a coffee maker or a Keurig, go old school. I only use a French press or a pour over, plus I buy my own whole beans and grind them myself. When you really get the feel for brewing your own coffee, you'll make your own favorite cup every day, Leo.

I love watching unspoiled reaction to this one for that great wtf moment when Salma Hayek's setite shifts forms. This movie has horror royalty in it. Among others - and it's a long list of others - Sex Machine in Tom Savini, famed for his makeup work on Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, both by the legendary George Romero. The guy whose beer he stole was Greg Nicotero, whose company did the f/x work for this movie, and who got his start apprenticing under Savini on Day of the Dead. For decades he's been one of the most respected names in the industry.

Director Robert Rodriguez eventually made this into a series which ran for 3 seasons and had some of the supporting actor in it. The series wasn't bad. I actually really liked it
