NBC originally ordered 30 episodes for The Office Season 4, 5 of the episodes were supposed to be for hour-long slots. Essentially the show had exploded in popularity during Season 3 and NBC was testing how the audience and advertisers would react to longer episodes. The season ended up being cut short due to a Writer's Strike.

I miss the double episodes too you could always just do two at once if you felt like it. Also it's time for another Chick flick I would say The Heat with Sandra Bullock, Bridesmaids, or Drop Dead Gorgeous would all be popular choices. Hope you had a good weekend!

I understand on a PR level why they wanted to take away Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben, but I also think it wasn't the priority, just like the plastic straw thing. That being said...the new bamboo or seaweed based plastic straws are pretty great.

Yeah, those life simulation games can become addicting if you're not careful. Darryl and them with the jingles was hilarious, they was jamming. The songs were actually decent. Michael of course thought Darryl would write a rap jingle instead....SMH!! Andy throughout the episode trying to remember the end of the Kit-Kat bar jingle was funny as well. Michael's commercial was way better than corporate's version.
