Omg yeassss this movie is so sad but amazing damn! This gonna be good later at work! Have you seen Salena yet? If not that you need to do next. Stay litty y’all!

dmh killah

Hope you having a good day, bro. You should check out Broken lizard's Club dread (2004) unrated version sometime. It's the same guys that did super troopers and beerfest. Thanks homie

EZ

So random but I'm down , please check out the discord recommendations man, we are there for a reason!

Mimi

WOW!! Another '80s favorite of mine, for sure (even though it's set in the '50s). 👌

Angel Pantoja

No wayyyy dude thank youuu 🫡🫡🫡 been waiting on this one requested it months back! We lit!! RITCHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!

Chloe Arreola

The day the music died. What was sad is that the radio thing where they announced it, they didn't even bother to actually tell their loved ones what happened in person first. Buddy's wife was pregnant with their first child and the shock of finding out that her husband died on the radio and not being told personally led her to lose the baby. And richie's brother would go on living until his death in 2018.

Justin Bulkley

Happy for La Bamba but, I'm still holding out for La Smoochy. Please do Death To Smoochy so I can stop asking. Much love Leo God bless. <3

Edgar Gonzalez

RIP Richie Valens Every time I see this movie i got that song "The day music died" playing in my head. Don McLean- American Pie

Mr. Meow

Apparently not random lmao

Rhoda J

holdthepickle 420

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

RRRRRIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTCCCCHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE !!!! ..this is a very important movie for me not only because i watched it a lot when i was a kid but to also see an almost all brown cast was something unheard of back when i was a kid to see brown people that looked like me up on the tv was super important as a brown kid and also because im from the same place ritchie was born in ,and from,PACOIMA CA ,i went to the same high school ritchie and donna went to many years later ,its the same exact school they use in this movie.. the whole story takes place in and around here in pacoima were i still live i was born many many years later after his story took place but he was and still is a huge star here , there's parks named after him, community recreation centers named after him, theres post offices named after him ,there's murals of him all over pacoima ,hell there's even a freeway named after ritchie valens ,whos actual last name is valenzuela ,dude is a musical pioneer ,he is considered the first chicano/latino rock star blending mexican music with R&B and rock and roll he's also buried in the local cemetery ,what a fucking tragedy R.I.P. ritchie ✊🏽🇲🇽

Matthew Barney

Good one Mr Video but we need that Friday Night Lights or Varsity Blues

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

Webwyrm

Los Lobos for life!!!

Alice Delgado

All your questions, no Bob-O did not take care of Ritchie's family. They had to hire a lawyer to get what money he held out. Donna's father was a piece of shit. He kept Donna from attending Ritchie's funeral and tried to capitalize on his death by having Donna record a couple of songs after Ritchie died. Bob and Rosie had 6 more kids before calling it quits. He went on to become a mechanic. He and his second wife lived with his daughter, Brenda during tge last days of his life, passing away like 10 years ago

Alice Delgado

Like 3 years ago. The reaction itself is gone. All that's left is the youtube edit

Alice Delgado

Selena he did years ago as a collaboration. It's on youtube

Kim

‘The Buddy Holly Story’ should be next. Gary Busey was nominated for an Oscar and actually sang the songs himself. He DISAPPEARS in that role and saying Gary Busey disappears means something cause that dude…dang.

Rhoda J

We always get a raw reaction out of you Leo when you don’t know what is coming and yes the water works were flowing every time I see this movie, RIP. Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valen, 💕🙏🏻

Michael

Yeah that’s right I remember now thanks. Wish he had done that one alone haha

mrcinsc

Sick movie drop. I grew up with Ritchies nieces and nephews. Very proud family as the should be.

GuRillA_RACg_102

Your should react to (Jersey Boys) great biopic

Kluneberg

i haven't listened to all their stuff but i really like the song "the valley"

Kluneberg

tbf it was before he had that motorcycle accident that caused his brain damage

Kim

No, no - I know. Even back then he was so distinctive and really, really identifiable. His face speaks even when he doesn’t. So to take us completely into suspension of disbelief is amazing. He really was something special. I wasn’t commenting on his recent-ish ‘wackiness’. That wreck really jacked him up. Very sad.

Chuck M

Leo need listen to Ritchie music damn shame talent like that cut short day music died , but check out Ray and get on up and walk the line

Chuck M

Leo check out some more Lou diamond Phillips movies has some good ones , young guns several after that

Moe howard

Yo, I loved this movie in my youth... & still do.

Rachel

I have so crazy trivia for you about Ritchie. My grandpa went to the same school as Ritchie. He also was A witches to the DC 7 plane crash when they were kids that gave Ritchie his fear of flying. My grandpa also knew him in high school though not well - he would always say he knew he would be crazy famous even when young. Also another piece of trivia. That plane crash that killed Ritchie, Buddy Holly, and the big bopper became known as the “day the music died” and Don Maclean’s “American Pie” song is about that

cMagic

naaa you a dam legend for this one.

Angel Pantoja

It'll be a real gas, kitten = it'll be lit, babe Maybe? I don't actually know but that is my guess lol

Jaime Alvarez

Let’s f’n go! An absolute banger, one of my all time favorites. Thanks Leo! FYI - The actor who plays “Bob” is Esai Morales. An Amazing actor. He played Camino “Del” Rio in Season 1 of Ozark!

moises magana

im still saying desperado but I can be content with this!!

Adam(Anti)

Thanks Leo. If you want a comedy horror for this season, you should consider, What We Do in the Shadows movie. and Evil Dead 2

TXCountryGal

ALL three of the Artists were at the Top of Their Game. 🥲 💔 May they ALL Rest In Piece. Also, the dj whose name is Rick Dees and the MC who does American Bandstand (his name is Dick Clark), those two were the REAL people that were used in this movie. Rick Dees was real popular as a dj back in the 70's and i used to Enjoy Listening to his show. Rick's show was based out of California, where he was born in, but his radio show was real popular that it was aired All over America. I was born and raised in Texas and we used to Enjoy catching his radio show All the way in Texas because he (Rick) was a real FUNNY guy, he was such an Awesome dj, he's Still alive and this is a WEIRD, a Fun and a FUNNY Fact too about Rick-- in 1976 he wrote and sang in a song called "Disco Duck" (yes i said the title of it, LOL)! 🤣 😂 Now for the even WEIRDER and FUNNIER Fact-- Rick Dees wrote that song (the FUNNY one i just mentioned, "Disco Duck") and get this, in 1976 it went to a number one spot and the name of his band was called Rick Dees and his Cast of Idiots (WHAT!?), LOL! 🤣 😂 I'll finish this with the other guy i mentioned earlier (Dick Clark)-- so when i was a young girl, i used to have a HUGE crush on Dick Clark, he was the MC who did American Bandstand. That tv show aired for 37 years, from 1952 to 1989 and i used to Love, Love watching it every Saturday when it aired All over the USA and sadly, Dick Clark did die already back in 2012. I used to daydream A LOT that i too someday wanted to have my own band and to be a Professional Singer, and i Seriously WISHED that someday i too could be a Huge Star so that i could perform on American Bandstand just like my then idol, the pretty gal named Blondie (Debbie Harris is her real name). Sadly, my life-long dreams NeVER came true. 🥲 💔 LOL. 😎 👍 Have a good rest of the week to you Leo and May God Bless you too 'cause you're Awesome and you Deserve good things to come your way. G'Night for now. 💤 😴

Al Koholic

please react to the mocie dont look up bro..

Sara Croughan

This movie broke my heart when I was younger. I sobbed! Look forward to watching your reaction ❤️

Casino

Its still on patreon just type it in lol

Shep

I remember listening to this song in my grandmother's Cadillac when I was very little. She was only 17 on the Day the Music Died. She was always the odd one out in her family and listened to so much rock n' roll in spite of the teasing she got for it. It really makes me wonder what she felt that day. She's been gone for 3 years now. I really do cherish all the old music she introduced me to.

Shep

I can't remember if he watched Evil Dead 2 before Youtube ruined his channel.

Nicky Golden

Look up the story of outlaw country legend Waylon Jennings. He was playing bass on that tour and was supposed to be on that plane. He then went on to be one of the legends of country music.

Miichii G

I tried to look for the Selena reaction but couldn’t find it 😪

Keevee Venegas

Haven't seen this one in years. Awesome to revisit it with you Leo.

Michael

Yeah man this movie is a gut punch… he was so young. It’s a beautiful film though honestly But yeah it hits hard every single Time no matter how many times I watch it it’s even worse cause even those happy moments seeing him starting his music journey just to know it will Be cut short. They really are stars in the sky... Legends.

Adam(Anti)

nope, he did see the first one though

Cayley

❤️

The Joy

Lets go, you’re back to dropping some actual fire. Heres more like these for when you’re ready! Get on up (2014 Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) Rocketman (2019) Better Man (2025) La Bamba (1984) ✔️ Bob Marley: One Love (2024) The Pianist (2002) Selena (1997) ✔️

Alice Delgado

it's a collaboration only on youtube

Danger Tomato

We're never getting the heat reaction because of a will farrel movie.

AttractivePigeon

I started watching The Pianist back when Netflix streaming came out on the Nintendo wii, lol I started it but never finished it. Heard it won some awards though, so it must be good!

EZ

??

EZ

Bro really suggested a movie in the comments of the movie reaction he just requested oml

Reel Serious

That is a very accurate interpretation

Anika

This is the crash that the song American Pie by Don McLean was partially about. "The day the music died".

The Joy

Its an old list I made a long time ago lol just copied and pasted. He already did Bohemian Rhapsody didn’t he?

Pop_Pop_Taq

Loved the line you dropped at the end. Pretty much you think deeply about situations like that for a min then you go back to living obliviously. Nail on the head man

Violet

I really hope you watch Longlegs, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Downsizing, or The Hunger Games!! Have a great weekend!!

EZ

The Day that Music Died

Reel Serious

I heard you mention Blood In Blood Out. If you liked that movie you should definitely watch American Me.

Violet

Hi, Leo! I hope you check out the second Beavis and Butthead movie! I remember you laughing your ass off and the new one is just as funny! Beavis and Butthead Do the Universe!! Also it's been a while since the last chick flick. Drop Dead Gorgeous, Bridesmaids and The Heat are all HILARIOUS! Hope you're having a great weekend!!

Jordan

Poor Ritchie Valens what a tragedy. Quite the legacy for a 17 year old kid

azulaghoul
