One of these days you're going to watch another chick flick something like Drop Dead Gorgeous or The Heat and I'm going to bust a nut! Actually no, that'll happen when you FINALLY check out the 2009 STAR TREK!!! Remember STAR TREK?! You're missing out on one of THE BEST SCI-FI MOVIES OF ALL TIME!!

Always nervous starting this show 😂 I wonder why ? Thanks Leo , 💕🫶🏼💕

DRIP DROP

That episode was light. The next is golden especially since Leo saw 300

Sara Croughan

I thought this one was great. Stupid but funny as hell lol

this episode makes fun of The Da Vinci Code book/movie and the catholic leagues response to it. bill donohue actually comes off kinda likable when he called in on an old radio show i listen to. he even cancelled the radio hosts back in 2002 for a sex in church stunt but they ended up liking him.

theres a famous art altarpiece called Ghent Altarpiece where a lamb represents jesus. the lambs og face was more humanoid but over time it was covered up to look more like a normal lamb.

Ironically Matt and Trey didn't want to parody Trump directly for his first term, not for any personal reasons or fear of course, they just felt like he was already a walking joke and his actions spoke for themselves, but life has a weird way of repeating itself usually with bigger conquences, so now that he's been trying to take control of everything, especially the land of comedy and freedom of speech, they felt like they had no other choice but to mock him and the people that stand behind him, which has honestly led to some of their best material in years

Anyone else actually think the new episodes of south park are just way too politically focused and Tame compared to these? I miss old south park, they keep hammering the same jokes and bits in the new ones xD

Violet

I get WHY a lot of people feel that way, but South Park has, for the majority of it's time, been a mirror of society. There are very few aspects of life right now that aren't being directly affected or MAJORLY influenced by the current political climate. Yes, entertainment products like South Park are frequently used to escape from reality but the bottom line is that Trey and Matt are people who live in this country and when free speech of the entertainment industry is SO BLATANTLY threatened, it affects them, DIRECTLY. They obviously feel incredibly strongly about this. They skipped the election because they WANTED to be done with the heavily political episodes, but once the current administration started going after free speech, they obviously felt a call to action. I miss the more slice of life episodes, too, but this is bigger than that.

I can’t wait for you to get to season 11, episode 7 🤣😭

Jokes are jokes; they are made to make us laugh together. If you make fun of something but only one thing, then yeah, it might be more than just jokes, but at the end of the day, some people can't make the difference, and they are just buzzkills
