Cayley

Hi Leo ❤️.

Rhoda J

This is too out in the ozone for me so y’all enjoy, Leo hopefully you’ll find something for your girls can really enjoy, so I’m hopeful , have a great weekend Leo 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓨𝓸𝓾 , 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝔂 𝓼𝓪𝓯𝓮 💕🫶🏼💕

Jiggy Justin

Did you ever react to spirited away Leo? Also love this films artistic direction, beautiful and groundbreaking

Reinmaker

Damn thats two within the last month from my recommendations. Akira and Addams Family Values. Lets keep the Streak up with Your Highness, The Hobbit Trilogy, and Dirty Work!

Andres

Nice this is a classic

Reinmaker

If you want some Must Watch Anime, the cream of the crop, I recommend Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Vampire Hunter D, and Berserk the Golden Age

Carlos Estrada

With your name I’d think you would suggest Looper🔥

E

Hopefully there's a chance for Dr sleep, for Hallorann while watching IT

Carlos Estrada

Great pick Leo. Have a good day💯. If u want to go down to anime rabbit hole one suggestion I would like to make is Ghost in the Shell🙏

Cassy98

Movie Suggestions: 1) The Prestige, 2) Gone in 60 Seconds, 3) Frequency, 4) Red, 5) Parenthood, 6) The Italian Job (2003 version), 7) Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, 8) The Negotiator, 9) Air Force One, 10) Passenger 57

Silas Kane

If you're building to Ready Player One...The Shining is required viewing too. Dunno if that you haven't seen it or if it was lost in the purge.

Reinmaker

I am really hoping that Welcome to Derry is secretly a Pilot for a Dick Hallorann TV Show where he travels around the Stephen King universe and solves Mysterys. I hope it links directly to a possible Dark Tower TV Series or even the Stand. A Stephen King Multiverse would be welcome if done correctly and if they are using the IT movies and Welcome to Derry as a Blueprint to do just that, we're in for a crazy ride of cosmic horror proportions

Shep

My friend... you have opened a door few people are ever truly ready for. This movie was a game changer in the 80s and it still holds up. Mad respect, Leo

Michael

Dude fuck yeahhh this was the first anime movie I saw as a kid and then ghost in the shell! Def gotta check out Ghost in the Shell next and then you can watch the live action one with your girl Scarlett Johansson it’s not bad but the anime is top tier!

Michael

Happy holidays everyone and stay litty!

Jordan

W Akira, hope you get back on Attack on Titan someday

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

OOOOOOOHHHHHH SHIT lets gooo !!! ...to keep it real i just subscribed back in when i seen this movie pop up in the feed he he he 🤣 aight let me get right 😶‍🌫️ and ill watch along your gonna be walking around for a week going KAAANNNEEEEDDDAAAA !!! TEEEETTTSSSUUUUOOOOO !!!! 🤣

John Juan

YES DOG THIS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. IM WEARING MY RUCKING FOTTEN KANADA MOCK UP JACKET RIGHT NOW

Reinmaker

This might be my favorite Reaction he's ever done because holy crap I love this classic and Leo's absolutely invested

Corey Williams

READY PLAYER ONE!!👀 yall know I been waiting for that one

DRIP DROP

Litty cartoon bro

Maxaveli

Let’s fucking go! This is a masterpiece 🔥🔥

Reinmaker

So basically Tetsuo was out of control with his Psychic Powers and his body couldnt contain it. Akira manifested as a being of energy and Tetsuo with the 3 others used their psychic powers to absorb Tetsuo and transform the mass into a cosmic singularity, a mini big bang, and basically created a micro universe or reality that Kaneda held at the very end.

Terrance

Who recommended my favorite anime movie? Thank you with all my heart ❤️

nebuloider

You're going in blind.., to AKIRA !? How on earth. Watched it when I was 6 years old in 1990, never left my brain.

nebuloider

Watching it in Japanese, good man.

SpicyRikers

Bro If you enjoyed this I really think you should try Cowboy Bebop and The Cyberpunk Edgerunners Anime!!

Steevn Sonder

Every so often you choose a movie that actually makes me stop everything else I’m doing. This is one of those times. Thank you for the classic 🙏

Steevn Sonder

Not even just Ready Player One this is perfect to watch for continuing Stranger Things 👀

Tony

Lowkey a good movie with amazing animation, but I wish it followed the manga’s storyline. Leo you should watch Redline, it’s a crazy racing anime which is amazing!

astrobuckshot

This might be my favorite Anime. The artwork is incredible and the story is a mind trip. This'll be fun, thanks Mr. V!

MrTHIZZ916

The behind the scenes go mainey

Kluneberg

Chronicle (2012) with Michael B. Jordan was suppose to be a live action Akira movie but it ended getting rewritten and made into a different movie with similar themes

Adam(Anti)

Thanks Leo! I really appreciate it!

Mimi Sade

Akira is a goated anime. If you enjoyed this, you gotta check out Ghost in the Shell sometime! Thanks for the upload and I hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

John K

Very unexpected drop today. I like it

Detroit

Iconic. Theres a reason this is widely considered the greatest anime movie of all time. The other one is Spirited Away, but if you do that one it has to be patreon exclusive. Studio Ghibli is malicious with their copyright claims

Adam(Anti)

Its been my daily recommendation for nearly a year now, Cheers friend. Just finished the reaction, top tier reaction too

HK-5150

Did not expect an Akira react, hell yeah! Definitely a staple classic Anime.

BlakedAsFuh

Ready Player One on the way!

BlakedAsFuh

Everything you see is HAND DRAWN btw

Astraeos

Why is everybody hyping up Ready Player One like its some epic, mind blowing experience lmao

Feels

You don't really need to see anything before ready player one, they just reference things from pop culture. Honestly if that was the case you would first need to watch all movies, and tv shows, every anime, play every kind of game and read every comic book. Then and only then would you be ready to watch ready player one. 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 I just say watch the movie, your good to go. But hey if your going to just watch anything how about Scream 2?

Martin Purcell

What are everyone's thoughts on Leo reacting to Arcane on Netflix? I personally think it's some of the best story writing for a series ever and I could see Leo getting super invested into it...

TylerNorCal

Its garbage, its like a meme in movie form...but i guess thats why ppl like it smh.

TylerNorCal

Watching Akira in preparation for Ready Player One is like buying a thousand dollar suit to go roll around in shit 😂

Canadian Rob

This legitimately made me laugh out loud. Hilarious 😂

Nathan

😂😂 full agree. though like most things i imagine leo will make it palatable

John Juan

The book and movie are not for me. Too typical and predictable. Standard "boy is an outcast then gets everything he wants, including the girl ajd befriending a rival." There's nothing wrong with people liking it, it's successful and there's worse things in the world, but I'm with you 100%.

John Juan

In some ways, this reminds me of A Clockwork Orange; futuristic gang fights! The animation is so beautiful in this. Just wow... masterfully drawn. Stays fresh even after multiple watches. This and Vampire Hunter D have been some of my fav anime movies for decades at this point - so it was a real treat to see this pop up and watch it with you all. Kinda makes me want to play Cyberpunk 2077 or Final Fantasy 7.... :D (Side note, please watch Vampire Hunter D! I saw the 40th Anniversary in the theaters and it was amazing) EDIT - I love hearing you talk after thought provoking, open-ended movies like this. I'm also so glad you got an anti-bullying message out of this too. <3 Trauma can do a lot

Tubular

Can you please repost Superman 2025. I missed it

nebuloider

Just so you know, the movie is basically book 1 ( of 6 ) of the manga.

ChPainkiller

Loved Season 1 . I thought Season 2 was a mess and destroyed for me the series

Tony

Well the manga was still being written when the anime came out. I feel like Leo could get around to doing other anime movies like Ghost in a Shell, Metropolis, Paprika, Perfect Blue, or Redline xd

nebuloider

Knew I was probably wrong with that comment, but I'll second any of those titles you mentioned. Also, "Memories".

CHROME DeePo

Day 13 of requesting the Mission Impossible movies!

Adam(Anti)

Its a Leo thing, he gets bothered when he dont get a reference. Since there are thousands like you said, he probably only care about the main important references that are noticeable. He will be glad he knows that bike before he watches ready player one.

Detroit

Akira is better than ready player one could every hope to be imo. But Akira will never win a poll on your patreon, and Ready Player One nearly tied for first in the polls multiple times. So this is dope either way. Iron Giant would be dope too

Feels

Then he also need to watch some gundam too, and mecha godzilla, let alone back to the future and the shinning. That movie is going to lead to way too many questions going by that logic. lol, and yeah i know how leo gets lost with references, also he'll be pausing and rewinding a lot during that movie.

Detroit

Ready Player One keeps getting the top on polls, the people want it. If we get Akira on the way....thats an absolute win

BLACK SAM

My dawg 💪🏾 this a classic

M

i cant enjoy watching this if its not the Johnny Young Bosch version, sorry

Filby Pott

Now it's time for me to tell you about Young Nastyman, archrival and nemesis of Wonderboy, with powers comparable to Wonderboy! What kind of powers, you ask? How about the power of flight? That do anything for you? That's levitation, homes. How about the power to kill a yak from 200 yards away... with MIND-BULLETS! That's telekinesis, Kyle! How about the power... to move you?

Filby Pott

btw this came out the year before Dragon Ball Z started, so I bet Vegeta's appearance was at least a little inspired by Tetsuo

Filby Pott

watching this for the first time in 20 years and blown away at the animation, the lip synching alone is unbelievable

Filby Pott

seconded, Redline blew me away

Tony

Memories is so good!

Tony

Lowkey I recommend Jin-Roh as well, or Ninja Scroll as well

Tony

It just has it all! Funny asf as well as

The Joy

Who the hell said you gotta watch the iron giant or this before watching ready player one lmao

Adam(Anti)

I think he actually did the live action one years ago. Would been dope to get the anime

Detroit

Ghost in the Shell (1995)

Detroit

i got to cosign for the Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell request.

Kobain Reid

Watch that 70s show!!! Just 2 episodes man please everyone will l I be it

John Juan

Vampire Hunter D and Fist of the North Star too!!!

John Juan

people really dog on him for not seeing shit and I'm like... this is a reaction channel. If he's already seen everything its not really a successful react channel lol. Let the brother just watch the movies. If something tickles his fancy in RP1, the same people will be there mentioning all the stuff he should watch. Just let the man live and enjoy the movie haha

John Juan

I kinda wanted the dub as well but it's all good TBH.

John Juan

I'm hoping for Vampire Hunter D (both!) and Fist of the North Star

Serra313

"What the HELLL??" Anddd there it is. Welcome to anime Leo. Many horrors await, along with delights in equal measure. May your journey overflow with curses and blessings.

Tony

Kenshiro is one of my favorite characters in anime

Martin Purcell

I've heard a lot of didn't like season 2 because the pacing was too fast with 2 many stories but I actually thought season 2 was better than season 1 😂

Daniel

Haven't seen Akira in years, so watching this reaction made it even more awesome. Thanks Leo. Excited to see Ready Player One.

JKSENSEI

Time for Evangelion?
