I have Tourettes syndrome Leo and I'm so happy you finally got to this hilarious episode. One of the best things about South Park is that they really do their research before making fun of something and that's one thing that stands them apart from the rest. To this day this is the best representation of Tourettes that I've ever seen on TV or in movies. All others just focus on them screaming obscenities but south park really did their research on "tics" and the types of tics that people with Tourettes deal with on a daily basis. Sure they also had characters screaming obscenities (Cartman🤣) but they showed the other side of Tourettes. Did you know that only about 13% of people with Tourettes actually yell out obscenities? I feel for these people because the one time I witnessed it was when a family was eating at a restaurant that I worked at and it was so loud and obscene that they just left before they even got their food. I felt for the man, who just wanted a nice normal dinner with his family. Anyways, south park really did a great job with this episode and it makes me laugh hysterically because it IS funny to me and they make fun of everyone and everything so it's hard to get offended by anything they do!

around this time a few shows like maury had people with tourettes on. i listen to a old comedy radio show called opie & anthony while at work. right now im in 2006 before this ep they had a comedian with tourettes on named louis "twitchels" centanni. his appearances are funny and was on with patrice oneal once. he got his nickname from paris hilton on the show the simple life. a lot of people with tourettes had ocd. he for example had to jump everytime someone said jump. also chris hanson was just airing on dateline at the time so thats why they satirized him. i was maybe 11-12 when i first started watching the show. i was more into simpsons, futurama, aqua teen, and family guy at the time but then i saw the warcraft ep cuz my friends at school played the game. i think i did see ep before that tho just didnt watch it enough to get into it. imo even now the earlier ep 1-5 seasons kinda dont hold up.
