The writers are Mindy is Kelly Kapoor, BJ Novak is Ryan, Paul Leiberstein is toby. All writers. And the co creater is Greg Daniel's who also created king of the hill. Phyllis was the casting director and got hired for the role after, her name is actually Phyllis. Other cast members directed some episodes too.

the way writing on shows like this often works - they set up a WRITER'S ROOM - a group of people sit around pitching ideas and figuring out each episode together. Then individual writers take those ideas and turn out the actual scripts. Usually each writer gets to do some, so everyone gets credit somewhere in the season. The SHOWRUNNER is like a head writer producer who keeps everything on track, does rewrites and final decisions. For most of the Office, this is GREG DANIELS. Fun fact - MINDY KALING, who wrote this episode, plays Kelly. (Toby and Ryan are also regular writers on the show)

You were so close, had you taken your search a tiny bit further it might have revealed that writer Mindy Kaling is KELLY!! 😃 She and the actors that play Ryan, Toby, and Kevin were all main writers for the show. Mindy wrote a ton of episodes. And of course the show won several awards (e.g., Emmys, Golden Globes, etc), including a few NAACP Image Awards (Craig Robinson—Darryl—was nominated for a few of those)!!

Hey Leo, i'm just here bothering you once Again like i usually do, LOL, to see if you could Please take a look at these movies since Christmas is just around the corner. I know you're bomb-barded with A LOT of requests from us and i know that there's NO way that you can get to ALL of us, but IF you're in the mood for some Serious FUNNY Christmas movies then Please look at, "Bad Moms" and "Mixed Nuts", and you never got around to "Bad Santa 2". Also, since we just got done with seeing Steve Martin in a movie, IF you also want to check out, "The Jerk" (Not a Christmas movie) because those four movies are Real FUNNY. And yes i Do Enjoy a lot of Adam Sandler movies as well as Kathryn Kahn movies (i thought she was related to Madeleine Kahn but they're Not related, supposedly)-- So Did you already do "The Do-Over" or what about "Our Idiot Brother"? ALL of these movies are Seriously sooooo Real FUNNY and Karen (Rashida Jones) from The Office is in one of these movies, which IF you also ever want to start with either "Parks and Recreation" and/or "Community", those two are also such very FUNNY tv shows. Someone suggested to start with "Seinfeld" and i say Nooooooo, NO, Please NO! He (Jerry) REALLY sucks and he's just NOT that funny at all! 😱 LOL! 😂 🤣
