Man I was mad asf they even spaced out the episodes like this; I was telling my wife the whole time lol why not at least put the first two parts together and then have the last episode release later if you wanted to do something like that. In my opinion for the majority of the first two parts a whole bunch of nothing was going on.

This was a great reaction! Some opinions I didn't agree with, and some i did. I think they should've kept Eleven dead, but deep down I knew the writers wouldn't... I think the ending would have meant so much more if she didn't make it. If they was going to have her survive then they should've found a way to beat that scientist. They took out Henry, so her, and her crew shouldn't be a problem after they got rid of those kryptonite speakers Henry was on his Venom shit wasn't he!? 😂 "He Is I. I Is Him, We Are One!' And then you see the giant spider lol! Anyway... What's the next show? 🙂

Im just gonna pretend this season doesnt exist. There were great moments, but overall, it doesnt make sense and isnt very satisfying, imo. This is one of the worst written final seasons of a show ive ever seen, sucks cuz ive loved it over the years, o well

I think the fight felt rushed or “easy” because we really didn’t see El’s training in depth to show exactly how much powerful she’s gotten. Plus they were going against Venca and the mindflayer simultaneously and they’ve never actually dealt damage to the actual mindflayer before, so Vecna was more powerful in earlier seasons. It really felt like a video game boss fight which I don’t hate, seeing how it’s they’re all really just characters and villains based on D&D. They missed some things that could’ve been included in the finale but overall I enjoyed it and hate to see it go.

I just don’t get how everyone is not satisfied with how they defeated Vecna and the mindflayer. They defeat them this fast every season with their “teamwork” so I wasn’t shocked. Vecna was already emotionally weak after seeing his memory he hadn’t seen in decades, top that off with eleven sneak attacking him twice and the gang physically burning him and the mindflayer plus Will controlling him. Yes it would be that easy to kill him. Hes human at the end of the day. A human vessel that died which kills the mindflayer until he finds a new vessel

hate the word filler, never adds anything to the conversation. just a way for people to disengage with the medium so they dont have to think about anything. Glad you said what you did but im also glad you saw the flaws with this season and fully agree with your seasons ranking, nothing ever topped that first season. And funnily enough there was never supposed to be another season but you know netflix that money was too good cant just let it go. Personally was not happy with how it was heading and this finale confirmed all my fears, i did find the epilogue touching though. Great reaction as always leo! cant wait for BETTER CALL SAUL 😉 right? RIGHT?

Don’t get me wrong, this season was the worst one and I agree that a lot of things felt unanswered including Will not being affected by the killing of Vecna/Mindflayer. My point was that every season they easily kill the big bad so I wasn’t shocked that they killed Vecna so quickly.

Damn can’t believe it’s over I agree entirely fight was way to short now it was badass but still yeah just felt so fast and literally had me waiting for fake out. Regardless I think it was great, did it lack that quality from season 4 yes but they did use a lot of practical stuff so it was pretty cool either way holly I dunno why out of no where she had so much screen time it felt like our main cast was benched. Still decent and as a whole im just glad it has an ending and i didn’t mind the “ filler” moments because at least it allowed closure to happen in semi organic ways. all the demogorgons and demondogs only existed in the upside down and only traveled to the real world with vecna's help and orders the last battle was in the abyss where we've never seen any demogorgons or any other kind of monster in the "final stage" the abyss just vecna and the mind flare

and here we are ,great ride ,great time ,this season was fine not great but just fine and they definitely wanted to make everyone happy and i get that and its fine nothing major bothered me but nothing amazing stood out , just a point i gotta make the final battle didnt take place in the upside down it took place in the abyss where the mind flare only existed and was the only thing that lived there and only vecna could travel to the abyss, anyways i dont really wanna nit pick a fantasy show based on dungeons & dragons and all kinds of cool horror,fantasy,sci fi,action,stuff from the 80s and our childhood just sit back and enjoy !

aaand for the obligatory next show ideas ..id have to go with something more adult to watch since we already watch so called funny shows and cartoons and kid friendly shows like south park lol but shows ,like succession ,or barry ,or ozark,or watchmen ,or the penguin! all great shows and are short not to long just a quick enjoy and we can move on ...or if we want something still adult themed and a little longer like the wire ! which is one of the best shows ever, or top boy! ,or hell even the sopranos would be cool .. 👍🏽

It's a great day for a chick flick! We haven't had one since MAY!! The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy is hilarious, so is Drop Dead Gorgeous! That has Denise Richards and Kirsten Dunst and even someone from The Office!! But if you don't want to do something for all your female subscribers you could do a massive sci-fi blockbuster that has a big cast, tons of action and amazing special effects......*cough* STAR TREK 2009 *cough* I know I'm recommending it a lot that's because I am certain that you would love it it makes me sad to think of somebody who could really appreciate it not saying it. I think maybe you haven't done it yet because you think it's like the older movies, and it's really not it's absolutely modern and it's absolutely badass!

Season 5 sucked so bad it even ruined season 4 for me…i’m just gonna pretend the show ended at the end of season 3.

Killing Vecna was fast in that scene but you gotta figure that they've been fighting Vecna for two seasons now. This is just a continuation of that. They had the fight at the end of last season where Vecna came out on top and he did kill someone at least temporarily (namely Max). It also makes sense that El was able to defeat Vecna more successfully this time. She had that fight with Vecna when she was younger but she just banished him to the abyss. She's been training and is much stronger and much stronger than Vecna could ever hope to be so it's not surprising that she defeated him so quickly in this particular battle.

Here’s my take. I think the way they executed the fights was why it felt the way it did. The whole fight scene (starting from when the mind flayer reveals himself to when vecna gets impaled) took 20 minutes. That’s average for a final act on most movies. As for why it was so easy I agree, why they’re weren’t any other creatures? (But we know the real reason they would’ve struggled REALLY bad against probably 1-2 demagorgons alone since theyre immune to everything but fire and the characters are all powerless except will (which he only seems to be able to use in dire situations). but in terms of vecna, he wasnt 1v1 anyone. He was being fought around by el (which he almost took out if Will didn’t intervene), plus extra damage to the mind flayer that the crew pointed out. So yes the fight to me was not perfect, but to me it’s understandable and reasonable. As to why the later seasons felt a little less immersive was because the first season was all based off of mystery. We didn’t know what things were, why they’re weren’t were, and how. As we move forward with explanations it’s more of a how they work instead of a what. One theory I read was that”how come in the first season the vines would kill anything that moved and the bad and the demagorgans were there and now they’re walking around no problem” to that, I just say simply plot purposes. Sure we can probably say since vecna was in his mind state he wasn’t really worried about what was going on in the upside down. Now in terms of where they decided to go with season 5 should have been better tied to season 4 (where the end looked like apocalypse, to “people are riding down the metal sheet covers” not the best season def not the worse. I’d probably rank S1,S2,S4,S5,S3 ( I only really liked Billy’s implementation and the battle, all the Russian stuff was just eh to me) that being said if you watch each season they are all really strong which says a lot about this show. Which is why it’s ending is the reason we have such high expectations. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk lol

I stopped watching after season 2 or 3 a long time ago, but when i realized you had the rest of them on your patreon I continued the journey. Now I'm sad it's done. Thanks Leo for making this an enjoyable experience.
