Last episode you were talking about your theory for Trunks being so strong. I dont think this is a spoiler because they never really address it as such in the series or the movies. But in the videogames, they called it MIXED BLOOD POWER. Basically him being half Saiyan and Half Human gives him all of their best abilities. Kinda like blade… kinda. Or like how Gohan even as a toddler had a huge uncontrollable amount of power that Piccolo helped bring out. Them mixed kids be strong as a mf.
