My dad once said about Seinfeld "I might like this show, if George wasn't in it!" He couldn't fathom him having friends, and didn't want to spend 30 minutes a week "hanging out" with him. But the rest of the family loved the show. Elaine and Jerry were my favorites, then George's Dad, who you will meet...Frank Constanza is a wild character!

George to me makes the show, he's such a neurotic and a high-strung character and it cracks me up. Kramer's randomness and unpredictability is why he's my 2nd favorite character on the show. The episode where Kramer unapologetically told that lady that she needed a nose job had me hollering.....SMH!!! I also notice Jerry often breaks character and is laughing at Kramer and George's antics or dialogue which is funny. I'm really enjoying this show so far.

Great reaction...so funny! Leo, the character George is based on the real life co -creator of the show, believe it or not; I believe he and Jerry co-wrote the first 6 seasons. His name is Larry David. Larry eventually created another show where he is the main character, called Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's 100% "George" (Larry), and Larry actually plays himself. Please consider reacting to it as well. It's straight up hilarious and on HBO, so there's a lot more in depth content. JB Smooth, Conan O'Brian, Wanda Sykes, Jason Alexander (actor who plays George), and Vivica Fox guest star, and many more.

After each season you should watch the bloopers before moving on! You can wait until the end of the series to watch them all, but I loved watching them for each season right after I finished that season. It's so funny to see the bloopers for the episodes you just watched. Search "Seinfeld Bloopers Season 3" it's a 15 minute video

Hmm... come to think of it, this was kinda a complaint about Constanza at the time and almost a generational thing. Many in the older generation probably wouldn't have him as a friend. Me, a young person watching this series at the time, was thinking this was a common friendship. It became common to accept the quirks and erratic tendencies of your friendship with a person where in the past that friendship may have not became a thing due to numerous social issues of the times.

Most of the shows are based on real life things that happened to Larry and Jerry or the other writers. For example the show where George quits on Friday and goes back on Monday like nothing happened was something Larry did when he worked at SNL.
