Leo, when the Sopranos is over, Silvio actor stars in a mob comedy called Lilyhammer. About a mob guy who goes into witness protection in a peaceful town in Norway, opens a strip club and brings the life over there. It was the first made-for-Netflix series and it’s hilarious. Lots of Sopranos references.

He was at the very least bi-sexual including strong evidence he had a relationship with Howard Hughes in the 20's. Cooper showed that he was the strong silent type on screen but IRL he was quite different than his movie persona. IMO, the writers purposely used him as Tony's example of the "strong silent type" because of who Cooper really was as a way to show Tony behind the times. The strong evidence about Gary Cooper wasn't brought until the early 2000's but it was a well-known rumor up to that point when the show started and something Tony should have been aware of. The theme of nostalgia throughout the series continually shows how blind he is to certain things and modern realities.
