Michael Scott IS a version Ricky Gervais' character David Brent (who he was in this episode). from the original UK The Office, of which Ricky Gervais is the creator. The wrestling intro was done by David Brent at a conference. There are many references to the original throughout the US series. 100% recommend reacting to the original! It's much shorter - just two six episode seasons and a film or two. You well get a-whole-new influx of viewers/subscribers.
