Ahh hoping for Barbarian but looks like Blair Witch is gonna get it,, as an Advocate and Fan of the first found footage film Cannibal Holocaust, Blair Witch just doesn't hit for some reason. The animal bullshit is what turns people off but the Director himself said he apologized and wished he never used that footage and most the meat was all used by the local tribe but still no defending that part but i will defend the film itself. Its not just shock value its actually telling a story worth visiting, how humanity truly is, whos the bad guys and who aren't. Im not saying watch it im just saying as one of my favorite Horror Films of all time, its more powerful and deep than Blair Witch and those who complain haven't even watched the thing from start to finish

The 15

Mamma Mia

Jess

For Romance, I suggest "A Room With a View"

Sara Croughan

I put that movie as well. I also put the notebook because I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen that and I'd be happy if he put both of those movies on a list for next time

anthony Zarate

Hey, cannot find your community on discord, can some type the link in a reply to this please?

Reader Of Threads

Hated when I downloaded it on Kazaa back in the day, and still do. A very overrated student flick. There are so much more out there than BW.

anthony Zarate

SOMETHING ABOUT MARRY *not only is it a romance but arguably the funniest movie ever made. When I was 27 I went on a date with a 20 year old woman and we chose this movie because there wasn't many options. I couldn't believe how much I laughed and what was more amazing was she was laughing even harder. I assumed we didn't have much in common because of the age difference, but we both never said a word and laughed or were engaged the entire movie💯

anthony Zarate

TRUE ROMANCE! This is the best Romance ever made and what makes it better is it was written by Quentin Tarantino💯 P.S. It has the best cast ever assembled for movie IMO

anthony Zarate

I feel the same about Hereditary & The Ring. Both are some people's favorites. Just because I think both are very boring doesn't mean a majority of people don't love these movies. This is the same case with The Blair Witch Project. Unfortunately some people think horror is fantastical monsters or witches flying on a broom. I personally think the true horror is when something is hunting you but you cannot see it and have no way to stop it. The emotional and psychological terror and suspense is what makes great horror! Do you think Hitchcock was worried about practical effects and gore! Those things take a lot of people out of horror movies.

Or "The Omen" 1976

Rough results. Oh well

Brian Burkhardt

I don’t think it’s *that* bad, but it does require a lot of viewer input on what’s going on— if anything. While also not *bad* Skinamarink is much less substance, considering it’s also very hard to follow and includes almost no audible dialogue.

The 15

agreed, i certainly wont be giving it a watch if he decides to react to it

CattFink!

I remember seeing it when it was first released to rent on VHS (I'm old, I know). I was 14. It was one of those things everyone at school was talking about (I had just started high school). My two best friends and I were really excited that one of the moms rented it for us (rated R and we all looked about 11) to watch on a regular friday night sleepover. There were a few jump scares, but mostly we were totally underwhelmed and bummed out. We kept waiting for some captivating plot that could account for all the damn chatter from our peers and what felt like the world, but it never happened. In the end, we had to palate cleanse and watch our favorite movies. We watched Gattaca SLC Punk! only our minds had been infected by the BWP. We ended up giving both movies the MST3k blair witch treatment.

For real one of my favorite Steve Carell performances, really showcased just how good he really is.

Horror poll without "Event Horizon" or "Substance"? :O

S T

The Void, cult/lovecraftian horror. Highly rated, but not well known so probably never win but I'll keep suggesting it

S T

He's doing suggestions. top 1 gets picked, next 3 voted move on and the most liked 3 in the previous poll comment get added to the next poll. So suggest it now, people like it, it will be in next poll.

S T

Yeah it was for many first of its kind found footage and definitely only worth watching if you watched it come out. There was no internet and people acting like it was real made it worth. Now it's just way too dated.

Ghost was one of his very early reactions- hopefully it makes it on the re-upload list since I never caught it myself.

The blair witch sucks donkey balls. Nothing happens. Found footage films are so overhyped

I hope some other commenters back me up on this. Sling Blade isn’t a horror/thriller but it is a great great movie that I hope you watch soon. Written, directed , and starred by Billy Bob Thornton.

John Juan

More like the Boring Ass Witch project. Certified movie for people who like cricks, crickles, sniffles, general noises, and shaky camera work.

Andrew

Since this got so many likes it'll be added to Next Drama/Horror poll.

☆C~H~A~N~D~L~E~R☆

I vote Blair Witch and Sling Blade. And for the love of GOD, please don't rule out doing Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 just bc of naysayers. NOBODY reacts to that one and it's more of an actual movie than the first. With a decent cast I might add.

Susan B

Saltburn. Just gonna leave this here because it needs to happen. 😃

astrobuckshot

Sling Blade is amazing! btw, we MUST get One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 👍

anthony Zarate

Better than Scream, The Ring, and Hereditary!

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

we need to put SPLIT from 2016 on the next horror thriller poll ..dont know if youve seen unbreakable which is another classic film but its time we dip our collective toes into the shamamalalamaaalan pool ..REJOICE !!!

anthony Zarate

It's not dated, the issue is the younger generation is not educated and only indoctrinated now! Unfortunately, they have very short attention spans and little understanding of real world situations, only their smartphones & computers.

Violet

I'm with you on Scream and the Ring. But Heredity is FAR superior.

Violet

I'm not in the younger generation and appreciate subliminal horrorbut The Blair Witch Project is a snooze fest.

Violet

He's seen it

Mr. Chumpus

Unfortunately, a lot of Leo's fanboys are like 15 years old and think Blair Witch is good. They also suggest all the stupid cartoon shit

Mr. Chumpus

Sling Blade is a horror/thriller?

Tia

yup. I went to see it in a very crowded theatre, when I was in high school. i'm from Maryland, so we were like, where the heck is this? It was fun and the found footage thing was new. I don't think I've watched it since then. After the first time, there is no point.

Julie Whittaker

Would love to see more Hitchcock movies. 🍿 🤗💗

Julie Whittaker

I see not many voted for this particular movie, but “Ransom” is awesome with Mel Gibson.

Channell

We getting blair witch tonight?

Kneub

I think its the worst movie ever

Susan B

Thriller mini-series (4 episides) Lord of the Flies is outstanding. Child actors, look for lots of Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for these kids.
