Pikeys, Travelers, Irish gypsy type. Low education usually and are poor. No matter what a group of people are, when you mix low education(usually not past what we would call the 8th grade in america if at all) and no money throughout the generations together, you get gang lifestyle for a portion of them. That's why a lot of people unnecessarily hate them. You can even detect them though DNA tests, they usually don't date outside their own and even though they are Irish, they are genetically isolated from the rest of Ireland.

"Speak English to me Tommy. I thought this country spawned the f*cking language and so far nobody seems to speak it!". Seen the movie dozens of times yet that line never fails to make me laugh. Guy Ritchie's self awareness in the writing is incredible in this film.

I love that Brick Top doesn't give a f and uses the Imperial system of weight when discussing how to get rid of the body using pigs. He doesn't use any of that kilogram bullshit.

Damn near a perfect film. Great direction , writing , acting. A banger soundtrack , and quotable as hell!!! Even the soundtrack album has dialogue between tracks. Been hoping for this one for a while. "Proper fucked? " .... "And the boy's geta pair of them shoes." LMAO

The is literally the only movie I couldn't watch because I couldn't understand what was being said so I couldn't follow the plot. Plus our tv's small speakers didn't help. It came out a year before my family got a DVD player so we couldn't even turn on subtitles on the VHS (thank fuck for them nowadays!) from Hollywood Video after my parents rented it. 2 years after that we got a surround system, the works, etc and were set. About time I finally gave the film another chance.
