Official Announcement: Discontinuation of the Golden Supporter Tier (Patreon)

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of the Golden Supporter tier on Patreon, effective immediately.

This decision was not made lightly. The Golden Supporter tier was built on a promise: consistent, top-tier work delivered month after month, in exchange for your continued trust. For a time, that promise held. But over the past months, the numbers have told a story I could no longer ignore. What began as a steady community of ten has dwindled to two, and the work has not changed. The quality has not dropped. The effort has not lessened. Yet the model itself has stopped being sustainable, not because of you, but because of what the model demands of me.

A subscription rewards constancy, not craft. It asks for something new every month, on a schedule, regardless of whether the work is ready, regardless of whether the vision is complete. That is not how I create. And I have come to accept that forcing my process into that shape does a disservice to you, to me, and to the work itself.

There is also a quieter reason, harder to write. Over time, the pressure to produce on demand, to answer every message, to adjust every piece to fit every expectation, has worn down the very thing that made the work worth supporting in the first place. I no longer want to create out of obligation. I want to create out of conviction. And conviction does not run on a monthly billing cycle.

To those who stayed, especially those who remained until the end: thank you. You gave this tier more life than it had any right to expect. Your support was never unnoticed, and it was never taken for granted. I am sorry this is how it ends.

The Golden Supporter tier will be closed immediately. No further charges will be issued. If you have an active subscription, it will not renew. Any pending obligations will be honored in full.

This is not a retreat from my work. It is a redirection of it. I will continue to create, but on terms that allow the work to remain what it was always meant to be: deliberate, personal, and honest.
