I was just reading the page myself :) I do enjoy the Shinto myths but don't know much more than that

I mean, it kinda does, it's just not ENTIRELY fat that sumos have on them.

You mean like how countless other things are fetishized? Including things with religious backgrounds? What makes sumo some untouchable sacred cow, especially when some of its own practitioners have been caught in some pretty big scandals and on a professional level it still treats a woman's presence in the dohyo as an insult to the gods?
