I’ll be honest, now I have my brain straight I’ll just say I nearly cried at listening to this. This was BEYOND my expectations, and I love how it turned out! It’s so beautiful and captures what the original was like and adds that GaMetal twist to it. It’s just so damn GOOD! I’m glad it finally got done nearly 2 years later, and like Miyamoto says: “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.” Cheesy, I know, but it really applies to this. Jonny you went all out and I really appreciate it. I still remember Bud DMing me on discord (because I wasn’t on the stream when it won) and I nearly lost my mind in front of my former co-workers. I really can’t express how thankful and happy I am to finally hear this. And of course, props to the new vocalist! She definitely captured the beauty in the voice PERFECTLY! I seriously loved how the vocals worked so well for this song. But seriously, thank you both for your hard work on this! It means the world! 🥂
