Its a rare case where dub is so much better...and its a nasty one, beacuse for majority of the show its compleately whatever, little to no difference, and almost everyone defaults to sub...but for THESE scenes, that are just absolute art the gap is HUGE. Its like we rolled nat 20 on english voiceacting while at the same time rolling nat 1 for japanesee

Really wish you could have the dub for Eisen’s speech to Frieren about Stark. It just sounds better in Lord Ainz’s glorious voice.

I stand by the sub because I feel like Frieren's dub voice is just too deep, it takes me out of the story, but the sub you have is just wrong, there are much better subs out there so I get changing to dub.

One of my favorite details is that the flash backs with Flamme have a more bronze age aesthetic, while the rest of the show is closer to iron age or later. You can see how Frieren has lived through literal ages of humanity without the show ever needing to say it aloud.
