TL;DR - the quote from the ending's ending (as truthful, as it is) is shifting a blame on society conditioned for centry/centries to the way the system operates the world right now. 29:08 I try to reason with that quote as it hits right next to the home. I agree with the saying but I find it overused quite a lot nowadays. My problem lies with the fact that system used by governments to control and keep everything in check is a machine constructed way longer than the last century - it's what makes it so good. Let's try to say that we mobilize and go for the head of one's country - even the success only reaps one of the heads and even if we get rid of all the heads in the system, there may still be the way for it to regenerate slowly if something else keeps the heads regenerating like the Hydra would. Moreover, people back then weren't even interested in such ideas until the internet came out and with the times of comfort made us feel like everybody is equal. Before that though, the lowest part's of system only wanted to have a peace in their lives and try to survive the life to the fullest. Only the threat of losing that peace made them go along with the quote. However nowadays society lives in a Stockholm Syndrome, where the peace is in underpayment and overworking while dealing with the choices of what to sacrifice and what may stay to ease up all the tension and stress. I would say, expecting worn out people - seeing their state as normal and giving the peace for them - to expect them to do something against the sense of injustice that government and/or system enforces on them sounds rather silly - it just looks like Don Kichoté fights with a windmills.
