Need help deciding on my new editing format! (Patreon)

Why not put your full reactions on Patreon ? I think more people would join the community =)

Great question! There are a couple reasons: 1) I talk and pause too much 😅 Many reactors who post their full reactions on Patreon are able to do so by not including the original content and just a timer so that patrons can watch the original content alongside them in another screen. That unfortunately doesn’t work for me because I pause and talk so often. I considered pausing less, but it just doesn’t feel like it aligns with how I process things. 2) The primary benefit I want my Patreon to be (once it’s officially rolled out), is to be a place for people to access early edited reactions along with a bit more direct engagement with me through livestreams, content polls, discussions, etc. I may change my mind about this in the future, but that’s how I’m feeling now. 3) I unfortunately haven’t found the right balance between my full-time job, side hustle, hobbies, social life, and YouTube. So I don’t want to overpromisd and underdeliver. So I haven’t really publicized this Patreon because I don’t have much to offer just yet. That all being said, I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts. It’s helpful to hear what people like. I’m hoping to make some progress this week and finalize my plans for this Patreon.

Totally. But again, I'm always open to feedback and other opinions! I also will be taking some time off work for the holiday soon. Planning on recording a bunch of episodes and editing them to get back to a regular schedule and maybe even get ahead enough to feel comfortable advertising the Patreon!
