HI!!! I wanted to lowkey brag & show you that about a year and a half ago I got to tour the warehouse where they made/still display all the Hannibal special FX stuff :D The company and people there were so kind, it was so interesting to see all these in real life!! I wanted to link you to my instagram post about it but the other photos have spoilers for future episodes, so I hope this imgur link works. https://imgur.com/a/gvVP4F3

Omg that must have been an amazing tour! Also love that you specifically shared the pic of the “human totem pole” from this very episode 😆! Was it trippy to see in real life? Did it actually look realistic in person? I actually might look into visiting after finishing the show. Glad they actually kept these props because the work that must have been put into it deserves recognition!

It was WILD. The totem pole was huge, at least 15 feet tall. The detail was unbelievable, the skin, the hair, every tiny crease and fold in the skin, omg. Peep the trombonist in the upper corner too! They have so many props, by the end of your Hannibal journey I'm going to link you to my post of all the pictures I was able to get, I tagged the company in the post as well so you can check out their stuff, the page is full of spoilers right now though. They do a lot of work for a lot of different shows! The Boys, Chucky, the Saw franchise, etc. Honestly now that I think about it, I wouldn't doubt that they did some work for The Vampire Lestat since they are based in Toronto, a lot of filming for the show happened in Canada. They usually post their work a little while after the episodes/movies come out, I'll keep an eye out.

Wow, truly an astonishing feat. I hope they got awarded in some way for their work. And yes, please! Would love to see all the pics once I’m done! Oooh, if they did effects for IWTV too, I would be geeked! Might have to take a quick trip to Toronto this year!
