Chimera Pre-Order Details (Patreon)

Thank you all for the colour scheme input! It looks like there were two clear winners, which makes it easy on us.
This post may be a little long, so bear with me: I'll try and keep it as straight forward as I can. That said, If anything isn't clear, or you're left with questions please ask!

Chimera Specs
They stand 16" tall with an equal armspan, and approximately an 11.5" tail length. They're fully armatured, with small wired wings.

There will be a max. of 30 chimeras made. 20 of these will be available via this pre-order, offered first to you guys! All remaining slots from that 20 will be offered publically. The remaining 10 will be reserved either for sale online (at a higher price), or at conventions, also at a price above the pre-order.... and Bones and I may keep a couple for ourselves for a change. They won't be available for custom order.

The pre-order will offer the option of 6 different colour schemes. The limitation on colour schemes is to ensure we have enough fur for the full run. There will be no limit on individual colour schemes - if the majority of people prefer the galaxy scheme, then we'll make predominantly galaxy chimeras!

Outside of the prescribed colours, pre-orders will have a number of customizable options. This includes:
- wing colours (2)
- eye colour
- horn colour
- nose colour
- paw pad colour
- claw colour
- tail rings or a solid tail

The rest of the painting will be done to match the furs, but to keep the run doable within the time frame we've set, will not be further customizable. I will of course make sure they're all slightly different to the best of my ability however!

Available Colour Schemes

The six available colour schemes will be:
- Midnight: solid black
- Pastel Pink Leopard: pastel pink leopard side, pastel pink feather-fur mane, white belly
- Ash Ghost: cool grey marble side, black mane, silver belly
- Lion: tan side, golden mane, cream belly
- Brimstone: crimson side w/black and crimson forearms/calves, black mane with red stripe, burnt orange belly
- Galaxy: navy side, purple & blue mane, dark purple belly

Pictures of the specific furs will be available when the pre-order opens so you know exactly what you'll be getting!

Timeframe & Payment

Pre-orders will open sometime this coming week: the form will be posted here.

Pre-orders will be open to $10+  patrons for a full 5 days. Due to some issues we've had with people receiving higher tier perks and then immediately dropping their pledge, if you lower your pledge below the $10 mark before being charged, you will lose your spot.

Each pre-order will be offered for a flat $550 + shipping (base air, or tracked). Invoices will be sent out within 48 hours of the form closing, either for full or split payment as you prefer. As always, this pre-order will be funding supplies needed for the project, so please have invoices paid within 72 hours. If you're unable to do so for whatever reason, please email us.

Work Timeframe

Production on the pre-orders will start Nov. 1st, and our aim is to be finished by the end of December. We will continue to work several days a week on regular customs during this time frame, as per usual. All WIPs will be posted on patreon of course!

Shipping will be done in batches, as we complete them. We have no idea what the postal system will look like in a couple of months, so please consider shipping may still be slower than average. We hope not, but just a caveat in case!
